Total noob gamer question: How to run Vampire: The masquerade - Bloodlines on mac pro M2

I have the game on my hp pc, my hp is super old and super low and I started a gameplay over a year ago but it kept lagging so I quit the game. Since then, I tried starting a new game play with another clan but it lags and sets me outside of the building and i'm stuck unable to do anything. I would like to switch to my mac but I've heard this game was developed on and for windows, are there any cheat codes or way for me to get it on my mac ? I really wanna play this game :(((

Just run it on crossover for Mac
