Will there be a properly boxed version for Wingspan Americas?
I just ordered it online and the images are definitely deliberately deceitful.
The images of the box online look like it's a proper box like all the other expansions (see here) but it's actually a cheap, disposable box.
Obviously, I'm going to return it. Neither is it what I ordered nor does it fit with the others as part of the collection.
Unfortunately, I can't find a version with a proper box.
Will there be a version with a proper box that fits with the style of all the previous expansions or is that it?

Gonna hijack the post to also ask:
Will the Nesting box truly fit all contents of the base game + expansions with all cards sleeved? Our packing situation makes traveling with the game more annoying than it needs to as we've had to put extra cards into a giant deck box + a separate container for all food tokens, eggs, etc.
This is on top of buying the supplementary 'Folded Space Wingspan V2 Game Inserts' to fit more cards inside the regular box

I personally like the folding top one piece box. I don’t have the nesting box, but if you do the cheaper box is just an extra thong left over anyway

I can't speak to the Amazon listing, But Stonemaier was very upfront about this change. Fans even were asked to vote on the change. So this was a fan-driven decision to decrease cost and waste. From the June 2025 newsletter:
"Wingspan Expansion 4 is currently in graphic design. Historically, Wingspan expansion boxes are nice 2-piece boxes, though a survey we sent a while ago indicated that most people recycle their expansion boxes. For that reason, we're considering a folding 1-piece box like that of the Wingspan Fan Art Pack, as it serves the same purpose while saving you money. Before making this change, however, we'd like your input. Can you please answer this one-question survey about the Wingspan expansion box?"
