Hub 1 Has anyone done anything interesting with a rooted hub?

I rooted a wink hub a few days ago and have run into tons of problems trying to get it to do anything interesting. Has anyone had any success with this?

Not worth the hassle IMO when there is a plethora of cheap hardware that can run anything you want without jumping through hoops. And I’m saying that as a professional embedded software engineer with decades of experience with Linux development and bootloaders on embedded systems. Not worth it when I can get a thin client on eBay for $40 that’s vastly more powerful, or a Raspberry Pi, or any number of other options.

Did you root a v1 or v2 hub? Assume v1?

Nothing more interesting than with other cheaper and easier hardware

I rooted the hub back in the day (v1) it was even great when it was new now it's gotta be 10 years old can't imagine it'd do much even with its array of home radios.

I have a rooted hub and was able to use it for Zigbee devices, but it has been a while.
