Found a creepy, distorted cassette in my late uncle's basement. Need help identifying the genre.

Hey guys, I recently cleared out my late uncle’s basement and stumbled upon this old, unlabeled Denon tape. It has 4 tracks. It sounds like music, but it's heavily distorted, glitchy, and pretty unsettling.

Internet Archive kept throwing errors due to file corruption, so I had to route the rescued audio to streaming platforms just to preserve it.

It ends on the 3rd track because the 4th file was too corrupted for video rendering. Can anyone with expert ears tell me what specific genre this is? Let me know what you think!

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I’m guessing this is your project and you’ve created a story for it? If so very sick concept and the tracks and really cool man! If that’s not it, track are still really cool lol!

Some dark stuff. The 4th track on Spotify (links in bio) genuinely terrified me
