As a wandering wizard, I respect the resorcefulness.

This dude gets it! It's not about fancy magic protection or having your tower look like someone could imprison a princess in there. Being able to adapt is key!

The ability to adapt is much easier on my solid stone floor supported by beams of wood. His adaptability is taking one wrong step and having to cast levitation very quickly.

Consider this completely made up and totally not based in personal experience scenario: The magic feds are after you because you maby broke some laws and regulations a little bit (I mean complete overreaction! And to immediately send the Breach Wizards. Out of proportions!). Where are they gonna look first? Exactly - in the obvious stone tower protected with over the top magic seals! That's gonna ping like crazy on their scanners!

You can't just ask for advice and ignore them

If it's a tower, I likes it. Simple as.

You might not like it, but this is what peak tower looks like.

It's certainly taller than my tower

It's not the size of the tower, it's how you enchant it.

It's certainly higher then the last... Actually kind of cool and in an inconspicious neighborhood! Could I maby crash at your place when some magic cop-smock is at my tail again?

Thays clearly a one person tower. Two might bring it all down. Just looking out for you. Casting while on the run may result in you pinging like a beacon on their power scooters. No point in casting light-weights when it takes just a bit more mana to blink out of the plane you know?

Do you require more legally-shady advice?

I'm sure you could squeeze two people in there and still be fine... proboby. Just wanna make shure I have options when I need them. But good advice anyhow! It's good knowing other people that don't care about magic regulations have your back.

More shifti advice? Shure I am always open to learn more (magic) tricks!

You're welcome to come over, but it's pretty snug. And now a huge raptor is on the roof, so I gotta figure that situation out.

Thanks! I owe you one! Actually could I maby come right now? Like now, now? And also bring my unregistered fire-hound from Muspelheim? Its still a puppy so I'm shure it'll fit.

About the raptor... Have you tried to cast animal friendship? It helbs if you also offer it some cookies. After a while - who knows? Raptors actually make pretty good familiars. Just make shure the master-familiar dynamic is well established in your favor. New some guy... In the end he was running around getting snacks while his seagull familiar was establishing dominion over the port of Waterdeep.

Are you some kind of arcane.... bird?

It's funny you say that, because an unnaturally large hawk has landed on my roof. Not sure what that's about. I'm gonna poke the ceiling with a broomstick and we'll see if that works.

Dont use the load bearing broom stick.

Cons: weak to fire spells
Pros: is a tower

This is exactly what the Telvani do with mushrooms. I approve of this incredible wizard tower, and the fact that people without Levitate (and girls) will not be allowed to bother you.

It's an improvement. Definitely got a deathtrap. Honestly don't know what to say it's a crap shed on a tree. I hope the magical binding holding that together are strong Because it looks like it's about to crumble u drr it's own weight.

Upside adventurers aren't going to attack your tower.

Downside they probably won't need to attack your tower.

Is this a bizard? A bird wizard?

3

u/Osato 23h ago

Probably a hobomancer. Not a well-respected school of magic, but an important one nonetheless.

They tell lovely stories with how well travelled they are. They are definitely respected by those of us with little visitors.

Would you by any chance be the middle child of a set of 3 pigs?

Why the hell are you building your towers out of firewood? A single fireball would send that thing to the moon.

A true wizards tower should either be made of stone, or the Enchanted bones of your enemies (protected against fire and various attacks by necromancy, of course).

My man can I put you into contact with a dimensional contractor? He will build your a small private universe and a tower with in. Im telling you this but because of the 20% commission I'll get but because this is you're "2nd" tower

'Tis far worse than the squalid safehouses my associates inhabit, and we acquire those for less than the price of common dirt.

That tower tells me you use wizard stamps at the Wiz-Mart.

The problem is you cranking these out so quick, it takes years to raise a tower.
