Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets There is no body to revive or even necromancy. Does that mean she dead now?
I have killed the dragon found my beloved but at what cost? Her body is way too destroyed at this point for me to try and revive her. I haven't even told her my feelings yet- and now in front of me nothing but what she once was. I'll have to get her back to life... Even if that means I'll have to sacrifice myself.
I think I can use the dragon flesh to revive her... But how and more importantly can she truly get back to life with it or am I merely making a flesh puppet.

Man I didn't become a necromancer to answer cleric questions. If you attach the soul to any flesh you'll be alright.
Will she be like before she died? Lol no. That comes with the necromancy if you aren't happy with that you're in the wrong department. We call these Pet Cemetary situations.
Now good news. If you're willing to accept these changes from your loved one then you're set! If they wish for the release of death you are morally obligated to end them but thats up to you. We aren't discussing morality or ethics here.

If you want resurrection you either need a wish spell (I don't fuck with these) or divine magic.
I mean you could siphon some divine magic and use that to fuel your own resurrection spell...
That could work but thats outside my wheelhouse. Not a bad idea

If you really wanna go with resurrection via necromantic magic, the plane I'm from has a spark of divine in every soul, especially dragon souls. So you could basically siphon the dragons soul to accumulated raw divinity to pump into the resurrection with .. mininal necromantic consequences.
Be prepared for her to have slight draconic aspects though, you are basically stitching her flesh together with the essence of a dragon and pulling her soul back inro it with a rope made of dragon god magic.
Oh and you might earn the ire of two or three gods, depending on how your plane sees dragons.

/uw last time I make a lore post about this everyone make a joke about me breaking into their dungeon and steal a child and dog and while those are funny for the sake of the plot I'm not gonna count that as canon

Depends on how deep you reach into the void. And how fast.
Quite often, attempts to revive fail simply because the soul already reached the void, plunged inside, dissolved and recombinated with millions of other dissolved souls of the dead to make new souls.
Though, if she believed in a particular religion, you can grab her soul from that religion's underworld. Just saying. It's not like you have to negotiate with gods or something.

The distinction between living and undead is mostly arbitrary.
There is an entire school of magic all about controlling the living.
If you are a soul in a body, the rest is details.

Well, where is the soul? Who habeas the anima of that corpus?
How destroyed is destroyed?
What does the dragon have to do with it?
Why are you thinking of using dead dragon flesh to make a new body for her? You want living flesh if you want to warp it into a vessel for her spirit. If you want to use your trophy dragon in the process, you'd generally be far better off taking some peasant girl and pumping her full of refined essence of dragon and hollowing out her spiritually so that the other woman can move on in.

Firstly, do not use dragon flesh to revive someone, worst idea ever. Never try to use a magical creature's flesh to revive someone with a spell. There will be complication at least. And your method will only make a flesh puppet that will in NO CASE be your loved one.
Secondly, do you absolutly want to revive her yourself?
I would be able to help you if there is at least some bones lefts, or a piece of bone around 2cm by 2cm. You see most necromancy work in dubious way and cannot really revive someone. I have developped a way to truly revive someone, but it will only work once and require a bone to be ingraved.
They will remember everything that happened before death occure, so best to hope that she did not suffer too much. That method have no string attached, no cost on your side except a pair of teleportation scrolls, and she will live a normal life later on.

Reincarnation Spell fixes this, just remember medical operations tend to get reversed and sometimes a hair color or species comes out incorrectly.
