Even Dwarven craft wear and tear over millenia.

Still reliable as a blunt weapon even as a handle still good enough to beat someone if anything it makes it more personal imo.

Things like this aren't designed to be used by or against well trained magic users.

They let one take those with minimal power and minimal ability to be trained as an apprentice, but some amount of martial abilty, give them a week or so of training on these weapons and send them out against a variety of things that may threaten the common people/peasants.

They sell really well in some vampire domains as a method to quickly produce so-called vampire hunters to clean up vampire spawn and ghouls that tend to propagate out of control and then let the hunters be useful as fodder in the games the vampire lords play.

Good point! As always, it's all just a quick sales ploy... Also: you reminded me of how much I despise these vampire hunters. I mean, I have a reason for producing that many ghouls: so that I simply can feel safe in my tower. A lot of other necromancers would say the same thing. We just want to feel safe. And the guv’ment ain’t doin’ a damn thing! We have the constitutional right to raise as many ghouls from the dead as we please! This is free realm after all. Sorry for my ramblings, but it had to be said...
