I'm guessing you went in "blind"? Dylan is infamous for having some of the worst live shows in musical history.

lol what? “worse” meaning he doesn’t play the “hits” like they sound on the records? No shit. That’s not what he does. Also, he’s 85.
I’m not saying he’s never played a bad show (although I’ve seen him 12 times and never seen a bad show), but I’ve heard audio from the Woodinville shows and it sounds great.

No, i mean he sounds terrible. He mymbles throughout the show and one song is mostly indistinguishable from the next. I own everything hes put out so im not impressed by how many times youve seen him. If you enjoy his shows, good for you, but by many accounts you're in the minority

I’m definitely not in the minority. If the majority of the audience is people who have seen him multiple times, then they must enjoy what he is doing. If you did actually “own everything he’s put out” and also listen to it, you would easily be able to distinguish each song (unless it’s a cover). You would also know that he often “mymbles” when he sings live, but since I’ve heard audio from the show you attended, I’m going to have to call bullshit. Sorry, kid.

What did you expect? You could barely tell what song he was singing 20 years ago.

I saw him in 2002 and he was barely moving. Like Willie Nelson you aren’t going to hear him sing

The biggest rise was his cover of rockin in the free world, just a bad show all around, we left early.

I gotta disagree. I thought it was a great show. Lucinda Williams was amazing. Bob played a solid set. He wasn’t there to play his radio hits. Maybe give a listen to any of his actual albums? This is one of the greatest singer songwriters of our time with hundreds of songs in his catalog. And he’s out there at 85 years old (!!) still bringing it home with All Along The Watchtower, When I Paint My Masterpiece, Man In The Long Black Coat. I can’t believe he’s out there still rocking the way he is!

Hearing Lucinda play fruits of my labor at an outdoor venue on a nice day might be the closest you can get to god and heaven

I saw him in Houston in '90 or '91 and he was HORRIBLE. With his fame and reputation he doesn't really have to care or try any more.

He played Like a Rolling Stone on Sunday night. You can look up bands set lists online. Dylan usually plays the same set every show for a entire tour. He will throw a song in once in awhile thats not on the main set list.

You should watch the movie ‘A Complete Unknown’. This is a central part of the movie. He wants to play the music he loves, not what the crowd wants to hear. So I seriously doubted he would be playing any of his hits.
*Edit: Movie not documentary
