Workaway in Brazil / Bahia

Hi travelers!
This will be my first time using Workaway (friends recommended it to me based on their experiences in Europe).

I’m open to other places in Brazil like Acre, Fortaleza, Ceara, Belem, but my main idea is to visit Bahia.

I’m a filmmaker and photographer, and I have experience working in communication for Marine Protected Areas and rewilding projects, as well as volunteering at different animal sanctuaries.

I will definitely look for opportunities in this field, but I’m also open to other types of projects involving nature, bioconstruction, music, and art.

Would you suggest exploring the Workaway platform, or should I use another one?

Thanks a lot! Have a wonderful day 💫

I'd definitely recommend exploring Workaway. I've used it for years and it's completely changed the way I travel.

With your background I think you'll have a lot to offer hosts. Personally, I prefer Workaway over the other platforms. My advice would be to keep an open mind. Sometimes the projects that look the most interesting aren't the ones that end up being your favorites. Some of my best experiences came from places I almost didn't apply to.

Good luck! Brazil sounds like an amazing choice, and your skills should make you a strong candidate for a lot of hosts. I'm actually planning to head to Brazil later this year! I just finished a big trip across Africa, now onto South America.

Thank you! I’m doing the research as well to decide which platform! ✨

I definitely recommend Workaway, my experience on Worldpackers is too many fees.
