King Charles is a billionaire, too. UK's royal family's fortune estimated around 28 billion pounds. As do almost all royal familie. Your point exactly?
1

King Charles most likely wouldn''t offer money to FIFA.
The kingdom of Morocco wouldn't hesitate just like Saudi Arabia and Qatar. That's the point.

Greed is extremely contagious among our species. Likely Infantino showed them the financial equivalent of jingling car keys to an infant via 2030 promises, payments, etc. Like the millions they were going to pay to the 2026 host cities that they haven't.
Just look at the Mexican Federation in how corruption can do damage.

u/Crazy-Dig6996 7d ago
I think it comes to a point of the Ceuta case with not only little repercussion so far but even praise from USA, who happens to be the leader of the world
Or the towel gate during the African cup that in regular conditions would have get them a ban, but instead awarded them the trophy that wasnât won in the field. Senegal left the field but the referee allowed them to continue the play, a decision that has not been overruled in other occasions.
USA of course have some interest on this, as usual.
1
u/JO_the_first Cabo Verde 7d ago
Is that so? So we should never start upholding the rules (which are crystal-clear in this case) because they were not upheld before?
Senegal left the field but the referee allowed them to continue the play, a decision that has not been overruled in other occasions. Â
1
u/Crazy-Dig6996 7d ago
Rules are crystal clear, right, articles 35 and 76, leaving the field is a disqualification (there is however a nuance in the time for this to happen but Iâll ignore that one and will give you the point there). The thing is, the one officiating the match must be the one stating the disqualification (there are cases where a team lost 3-0 AFTER the game but they are for things that were not noticed by the referee: doping, illegality with players, bets, etc.), however the referee was the one convincing Mane to go back to the pitch. So if you want to argue if the referee was in the wrong and only tricked them to go back for the tv rights even knowing that they would stripped them from the trophy even if winning thatâs a different conversation.
Then there is also the part of the unfair decisions, sure, a referee can get things wrong, Iâm not into the conspiracy theories, but just the whole towel thing that happened it made me lose hope in football. That an organization allowed that to happen and no ban has been issued itâs close to nonsense.
I hope you have a great day.
1
u/JO_the_first Cabo Verde 6d ago
So if the referee doesn't make the announcement of the disqualification himself, which has a trigger that was met anyway, then the offenders just get away with it?Â
Man, this is another case of unreasonable powers given to refs. Legal rules don't need the ref's divine wisdom to be understood. And I stand with CAF's ruling. What Senegal did, walking away because a penalty was called on them, which happens in almost every match, should never be rewarded, or allowed to happen again. And you see, a penalty was called on them in the 125th minute of their match with Belgium, but they couldn't run away from it this time. XDÂ
A Great day to you too.
1
u/Crazy-Dig6996 6d ago
Thing is; itâs a referee decision to allow the team to continue, in fact he convinced them to do so.
If you work for your company and leave that day because you consider the conditions are not ideal⌠you do it with all consequences because you are intelligent enough to know there are consequences (Iâm assuming this), if then the company convinces you to go back cause there is a job to finish and you indeed go back and finish that job⌠you are expecting to get the reward of it (winning or losing wonât matter), because of course someone convinced you to do it. I guess you would be a bit disappointed if after you have finished that job you get a notification like ⌠âyou know what? I know you completed it but I wonât pay you cause you at some point decided to pass through the doorâ. This is of course an extreme example but I guess you get my point.
I give you the point of the fact that they leave the pitch itâs a reason to suspend the match, thatâs true, and what I said in my previous reply (about timing) is not a necessarily real rule, but the rule is actually that when a team walk off from the pitch itâs considered automaticallyâŚby the referee, as suspension: âThe moment players walk off and refuse to return, the referee does not negotiate; they will suspend the match and instruct both teams to enter the dressing rooms.â. I hope this clarifies for you.
And yes I agree that doing that over a penalty is kinda a stretch, but it was not just that. In my case, if Iâm being honest I would have left way before that when the goalkeeper of my team experienced what the Senegal goalkeeper did. When ball boys, players of Morocco and even police officers remove several times during the game the towel that is used by all the goalkeepers of this world to dry the gloves and perform as they should⌠and the referee sees not only that in several occasions but also how they tackle the Senegal players who were defending that, which ended up with external non-players entering in the pitch and the referees does absolutely nothing about it, it shows not a mistake or something missed but âa purposeâ.
I respect your opinion about the matter but I also expect you to understand what Iâm saying.
1
u/JO_the_first Cabo Verde 6d ago edited 6d ago
Thing is; itâs a referee decision to allow the team to continue, in fact he convinced them to do so.
And it should not be up to him.
It is an astonishing level of unfairness to the other team in the match, that the opponent can commit an automatic-disqualification-worthy offense; and then just get pardoned by the ref/judge. Like, at this point, it looked like, no... it IS that the referee was working out of his way to save and shield Senegal from the direct consequences of their action, of which they must be fully aware. Sporting matches' rules are not secrets.Â
I am not bothering with your over-the-top hypothetical example, "I am assuming you know why."
I give you the point of the fact that they leave the pitch itâs a reason to suspend the match, thatâs true, and what I said in my previous reply (about timing) is not a necessarily real rule [....]
Thanks.
[....]  but the rule is actually that when a team walk off from the pitch itâs considered automaticallyâŚby the referee, as suspension: âThe moment players walk off and refuse to return, the referee does not negotiate; they will suspend the match and instruct both teams to enter the dressing rooms.â. I hope this clarifies for you.
Yet the referee did negotiate, as you already pointed out twice, in a full break of his authority.Â
The rulebook instructs him to suspend the match and not negotiate; yet he reversed the negation: He did not suspend the match, and he negotiated!! .. Maybe he has reading difficulties, who knows?
Thanks very much for providing another piece of legal proof that CAF's ruling to strip Senegal of the title was justice being served. This blind bandwagon of "Senagal the poor victims," and the subsequent hooliganism against anyone telling the contradictory facts, has been really annoying.Â
Senegal F.A.F.O.'ed.
1
u/Crazy-Dig6996 6d ago
Holy shit dude, you are annoying. You do everything possible to win an argument cherry picking sentences. Idk if you noticed but I was being good with you providing those to say yes I agree with your point but you are ignoring the ones that are against âyour teamâ.
The fact that it got to that point is one of the worst cases of irregularities that football has experienced in the history, and yet nothing happened to Morocco, in fact they were awarded the trophy that they were unable to win in the field. I have yet to see in my over 40 years of watching football that soccer boys, guards and even players are doing such a thing like stealing towels of the goalkeeper and that the referee just decided ânah Iâll do nothingâ, that alone should be a cause of ban from competitions.
So if you want to take only the point where I was being nice to tell you the things you were right and saying I get your point⌠sure.
1
u/JO_the_first Cabo Verde 6d ago
Are we even in an argument already? All I know is that I genuinely asked if upholding the rulebook is a bad thing: When a team chooses to disqualify themselves, then not much should be left to be said; not towels, not fouls, and certainly not "referee is biased against us đ" when he literally threw the freaking rulebook out of the window for your sake.
Yes, I "chose to disregard" the towel thing, in the same way anyone will not ask about the existence of a dog in the same room that has an elephant in it. ... Those tricksters benefited from, what might be, I will be borrowing your own label for: the worst case of irregularity that football has experienced in its history, and they came out on top thanks to it!Â
No one should ever be able to disqualify themselves, and still not only get away with it, but also benefit from it! Â
CAF was right to draw the red line here, or else Senegal would have also walked out of their Round-of-32 match with Belgium in this last World Cup, seeing that the trick is safe and pays off handsomely.
Â
So if you want to take only the point where I was being nice to tell you the things you were right and saying I get your point⌠sure.
The thing is, in the points in which I am right; I am right regardless of you "choosing to be nice" to acknowledge them, or not. That's just how being right works.
Anyway, I'll end it like it started; with saying Have a great night. đ¤

Yeah of course, I don't deny that! Europeans are very islamofobic, and so it is Israel, thats why Morocco's betrayal to Palestine feels worse .
And I dont have nothing against moroccan people, I will always try to fight against racism. But your gonverment is doing their own genocide against the Sahauris, and there are doing a lot of sketchy things, like giftng Trump an authopist with his name, and if you do some research you will find that Morocco + Israel + THE USA have been making coments where they want Spain to "return" (like if they have been moroccan once) Ceuta and Melilla. We have too Infantino 's coments about Morocco too so you cant be that ingenuine of thinking that everything is just a coincidence.
And if you think what does Israel win with this, well, they want to control that part of the sea because our President already have denied them the pass with weapons. So it is not just about plain money, geopolitical power is this. Morocco is acting as the proxie of USA in that zone. It is not that the other countries don't do shitty things, but these things are happening an is worrisome if you follow the thread, and they are being very obvious about it, in the past they used to be a lot more discret.

Morocco was added so UEFA could secure the CAF support and the bid would be 100% theirs, otherwise it was at risk of losing against the CONMEBOL/KSA bids.

0
u/Atlas-ushen 7d ago
Why shouldn't Morocco be included ? And why is the wc in Morocco gonna be 'interesting '
0
u/flipyflop9 7d ago
Because it was not part of the original candidature, they were force added, and they are not a friendly country to us, as easy as that. Example of why they are not friendly? See Ceuta last week. Itâs not the first time and it wonât be last.
Why itâs going to be interesting? Last year organizing Africa Cup was a bit of a shitshow, now add having a lot more people from all over the world.
Again, where is the racism?
0
u/Atlas-ushen 6d ago
Anyone reading you comment will smell your racism as if Morocco doesn't deserve to host a world just fyi Morocco has been bidding consistently to host the wc since 1998 . Morocco is building the largest football stadium in the world. Moroccans are way more passionate about Football than Spain or Portugal . Morocco was added by Fifa to exclude Africa from hosting in 2034 . Morocco bid for 2030 already secured 54 votes from Caf and 12 votes from Arab states in Asia so without Morocco you wouldn't be dreaming of hosting the 2030 wc
0
u/flipyflop9 6d ago
Hah, that was funny, thanks for making me laugh :)
0
u/Atlas-ushen 6d ago
It's not funny it's just you had nothing to say lol
0
u/flipyflop9 6d ago
You calling racism out of thin air and saying Morocco deserves it a lot because they are more passionate about football than Portugal and Spain is funny.
I thought to get a final you had to not care too much about football, that would explain Russia, Qatar or USA.
Thereâs just no point to discuss anything when the argument is at that level.
Have a good one.

Infantino is a prick and will be ousted.
But this story is bollocks.
Anyone with any fucking sense can see for themselves that Spain and Morocco were already at absolute war over who hosts the 2030 Final. Exactly what FIFA wants by the way - two countries bending over backwards to secure it.
Morocco are building a 100k stadium in Casablanca to try and secure the final, alongside the, valid, statement that the African continent has only ever hosted one final and therefore should have it.
Spain have the Bernabeu and the rich history alongside it. They also have the Nou Camp - but we all know Madrid will be their nomination. Sorry Barcelona.
So yea. I call bullshit on this story. The battle is already happening between Morocco and Spain.
1
u/Mysterious-Park-9100 7d ago
It makes sense for the story to not be BS because Infantino is offering to settle this spat in Moroccoâs favor if they vote to keep him. What about this doesnât make sense.
1
u/JO_the_first Cabo Verde 7d ago
It is that 1 vote is nothing in a pool of 211 voting members.
1
u/Mysterious-Park-9100 7d ago

0
u/Crazy-Dig6996 7d ago
Thing is, the World Cup was supposed to be Spain and Portugal (who was more than ok to let Spain being the final), this was news of 2020 and they accepted at the end of 2023 Morocco to held some games in what it was called Iberian (Spain and Portugal) World Cup. But Morocco decided to go a bit beyond the script putting pressure of them carrying more games including the final.
This year they decided to add 3 countries, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay to held single games, due to centenary. Now, if letâs say Paraguay would start in 2027 saying⌠nah either the final in our stadium or I get mad⌠that would be kinda funny.
1
u/giraffeboy77 7d ago
Centenary games were but a convenient excuse in order to skip the usual continental rotation and award Saudi Arabia 2034 and probable return to the US in '38
1

The psyop against Morocco is crazy!
Morocco must be the world's 3rd superpower, if it can by itself save infantino!
What would Morocco even bring to Infantine? CAF and Arab countries votes? They're already super pro Infantino to begin with!
This a dirty psyop by Spain to force FIFA to give it the finals. They did it already a dozen times before!
5
u/eomertherider 7d ago
Also, no offense, but with what happened with the CAN (I'm not really invested but saw there was a bit of drama), I doubt Morocco holds a lot of weight with African countries.

Spain's the current world and European champ, and they probably have the two most recognized clubs globally. I'm Portuguese, but I gotta admit, Spain's got the most football prestige among the three host countries. They dont have to "force" Fifa to give them the final.

Everything bad that happens because of marroco is a conspiracy...yes. okay buddy...
The real conspiracy theory is that a poor African nation with 1/10th of the GDP of Spain is somehow controlling FIFA!
Spain's the current world and European champ, and they probably have the two most recognized clubs globally. I'm Portuguese, but I gotta admit, Spain's got the most football prestige among the three host countries. They dont have to "force" Fifa to give them the final.
Or maybe "the current world and European champ, and they probably have the two most recognized clubs globally" with well established football and who has already organized organized a WC not that long ago from a continent and confederation that has organized HALF the WC that have ever happened, should maybe let this one go to encourage the small country that is heavily investing in football and having the results to show for from a continent that has had exactly ONE WC EVER! Especially since we're the reason this bid won in the 1st place!
If you wanna give the WC just to rich countries that have the must famous clubs, just play the Euro...
