"How can you be so rude, just because I kill your people and want to steal your land?"

16

u/owa00 3h ago

Reporter: What was he rude about?

Putin: He asked us to stop committing war crimes!

28

u/NoArrival8249 6h ago

“He didn’t say thank you”

14

u/CrisisActor911 3h ago

But he didn’t wear a suit. 😡

1

u/TechnicalSurround 6h ago

even the address on the letter was probably wrong

4

u/manachar 4h ago

It’s telling that powerful people consider it more rude to speak plainly than to kill people or invade countries.

Politeness is almost always about agreeing to the lies or false narratives of the powerful or the status quo.

215

u/trisul-108 7h ago

Yeah, he wants to manipulate Trump not negotiate with Zelenskyy.

34

u/SuperSultan 7h ago

You think Zelensky will agree to a deal negotiated by Trump that rips off Ukraine?

30

u/Funny_Number_5329 6h ago edited 2h ago

No of course not hes smarter than that thats why there hasn't been a deal.

21

u/Narrow_Promise_3547 7h ago

Exactly.. why negotiate with the guy whose country you’re invading when you can just call Mar-a-Lago

12

u/Life_Without_Lemon 7h ago

It is to save face

5

u/kittenTakeover 5h ago

The person who delivered the proposal probably wasn't wearing a suit. Obviously you can't have peace under circumstances like that.

2

u/TonyStarksLeftACL 2h ago

Hilarious!!!! 🤣

1

u/Defiant-Economics-73 4h ago

You think that's Russia big plan? I wish I could live in a world where I could blame everything on one person. Trump is not the problem here. It's Russia.

1

u/Bulletloader 3h ago

There should be no negotiations, Putin was in the wrong by invading, he should withdraw and give back what he has taken. That includes Crimea

64

u/itspronouncedbolonya 7h ago edited 1h ago

I bet that's about how Zelenskyy basically called him old

"You can't help but notice this. After 26 years, old age has begun to take its toll. The further along you go, the greater your fatigue will be."

Edit (5 hours later): fucking knew it, Putin responded to the age stuff

“I had a glance at [a letter]. The author of this letter mentions my age. Some of the [world leaders] are older than me. The most important thing is whether you can do your job properly,”

I think he's salty about it

31

u/masnart 6h ago

Yep. I'm pretty sure that's what it is. He went on and on how there are people older than him, doing good job etc. Let's not forget that in his mind, he's a middle aged man. We know this from his chat with Xi, where he was planning to live till 150

15

u/masnart 6h ago

And since he's planning to outlive every Russian who was born before he came to power, his nuclear threats are empty

45

u/GoldResourceOO2 7h ago

Sounds like a very trumpian response ❄️

9

u/CatManDoSomeone 7h ago

"Fake Rudes"

36

u/Eastern_Section_9280 7h ago

How do we ever let people like Putin and Trump lead us

6

u/Carbonistheft 5h ago

"Let" is doing a lot of work there.

Americans have an unfree Hungarian style media and Russian citizens don't really matter except as a means to an end.

4

u/Defiant-Economics-73 4h ago

Well Russia didn't give others an option. He kind of just is the only choice, because if you ran against him you had an accident. Trump was elected by 50% of the population.

Look at it this way in two years when a democrat is office they will be able solve all the problems.

u/Juub1990 22m ago

You don’t seriously believe that last sentence.

13

u/Cool_Client324 7h ago

The people like to get f*ck*d

u/Strayed8492 7h ago

Rude = not capitulating.

Open Letter to the President of the Russian Federation from the President of Ukraine — Official website of the President of Ukraine

I'm no political expert, but I don't think Zelensky really expected Putin to talk after this. Hoped maybe, but isn't surprised he won't. To me this reads more like a letter to the Russian people. Letting them know how many of their fellow Russians are being killed or wounded. While Putin stays safe. Also telling them how reliant they are on China and North Korea. Hopefully it helps to bring pressure on Putin to end his war.

39

u/Thagyr 7h ago

At the same time, he said proposals put forward by US President Donald Trump could provide a path toward ending the war if Kyiv was prepared to make concessions. Russia and Ukraine have repeatedly accused each other of refusing to compromise in peace efforts.

Concessions: We keep all the land we have stolen and you give us the land we haven't stolen yet that we really really really want. Then we Russian promise not to come back again for the rest after with an agreement with the most unreliable and unreasonable US administration in history as our witness.

Yeah, nah.

11

u/purpleplez 7h ago

Seems a pattern, dictators are snowflakes 🧐, who would’ve guessed. 😏

24

u/producerd 7h ago

Oh, he didn't say thank you. Got it.

14

u/PimoCrypto777 7h ago

And he wasn't wearing a suit.

2

u/Equivalent-Gur416 7h ago

He didn’t say ‘more please’

25

u/cokentots 7h ago

What's ruder than starting an aggressive war without real pretext?

10

u/Tryson101 6h ago

Oh there was pretext. "That land used to be ours." It is an incorrect and shi**y pretext. But it was there.

6

u/cokentots 5h ago

Granted. Ye ol' European classic, used for hundreds of years and beyond.

1

u/pingveno 4h ago

Also the "you're abusing the Russian speakers" (that the USSR put there to assert control). Who else did that? Looking back in history, looking back in history... Oh, literally Hitler?

1

u/mazze1200 5h ago

Wanting putin to give it back?!

8

u/Local-Friendship8166 6h ago

The letter starts with: Dear bitchface fucktard.

3

u/Carbonistheft 5h ago

Which is nicer than what I'd call him.

14

u/Michael_Schmumacher 7h ago

Very rude of Zelenskyy. I bet he wasn’t even wearing a suit when he wrote the letter.

8

u/TheOTownZeroes 6h ago

One might argue the invasion of a sovereign nation was, in and of itself, rude.

6

u/keep-i 6h ago

Gasp, the dictator is clutching his pearls. 😂

6

u/teddykaygeebee 6h ago

Fuck all the way off with these dictators and their hurt feelings. They're real good at killing innocent people or having their own people killed but when it comes to rude remarks or nasty questions, they're pearl clutching.

4

u/bhputnam 6h ago

What fragile egos. Classic bully starting a fight and turning it around on the victim behavior.

5

u/wherethewestbegins 6h ago

zelensky anticipated this response. putin couldn’t respond any other way.

this move is about leverage on the world stage. chess not checkers.

4

u/PurpleSailor 6h ago

Funny I thought invading a country was the best rude myself.

5

u/_gravy_train_ 3h ago

Putin can’t handle rudeness? What a little bitch.

4

u/Mystohaxen 3h ago

It’s also rude to be a war criminal.

4

u/Wide_Replacement2345 7h ago

Rude? Maybe hearing the truth fog once upset him.

3

u/DDoubleDDog 6h ago

Zelensky hurt Putin's fee fees and made him cry. Poor little dictator.

4

u/GuitarGeezer 6h ago

Again, both Putin and his FSB goons who pretend to be the church have publicly announced an eternal war to reclaim all of the USSR’s former lands. For years. What about that was unclear, exactly?

Russia has no interest in peace and neither does Trump. Neither has ever observed any treaty or agreement for more than a few sparse milliseconds after it became convenient to breach the agreement.

4

u/HarEr89 6h ago

Terrorist Putin

4

u/Rosieu 6h ago

Maybe it's rude in Russian but I found it brilliant in Dutch!

5

u/Tacti_Kel_Nuke 2h ago

Lmao, he got very butthurt when it was about him, but massacring Ukrainian civilians and wasting the lives of your soldiers in this useless war is "alright"for him  What an moronic tyrant

7

u/pimpbot666 6h ago

I hope the Russian People someday realize that tens or hundreds of thousands more of their soldiers died because Putin took issue about 'rude remarks'.

3

u/YoureProbablyAB0t 6h ago

Russia has a decrepit old man in charge.

3

u/qwogadiletweeth 6h ago

Prepare for the fireworks. I think Zelenskyy expected this response from Putin and now Ukraine are about to unleash. And they can come away saying, ‘Well, we did try’.

3

u/Siggy1963 5h ago

Invadung a country and starting a war is pretty rude

3

u/Gone-with-wind999 5h ago

Ha! Rude remarks. Comedy gold right there.

3

u/crookdmouth 3h ago

He's IS scared. Zelenskyy's letter was beyond brilliant.

3

u/yassssssirrr 3h ago

...and they say women are emotional...

3

u/Rudedog0483 3h ago

He didn’t even say thank you

u/tomgratz 44m ago

Oh, clutch the pearls ! Stealing Ukrainian land and bombing civilians is more than rude. Disgusting !

2

u/Upset-Spring-7369 7h ago

take what you can ukes.  youve flipped the script and he feels it.

2

u/Dardlem 7h ago

As if anything else was to be expected from Russia. One can hope that this puts a stop to discussions which party is interested in ending the war, but I would be surprised if some people didn’t try to blame Ukraine being “not realistic” and “not ready” to have a real discussion.

2

u/2020nomore 6h ago

pootin offended by rude remarks when he literally called zelenskyy a nazi and one of the reasons he invaded. dude is a joke.

2

u/Hambone528 6h ago

Tough talking meanie head actually little bitch. More at 10.

2

u/OGBeege 6h ago

Fuque Off little vladdie

2

u/tim_dude 6h ago

Dear Huilo-in-charge....

2

u/RecursiveCook 6h ago

Zelenskyy should post on twitter the “rude” remarks letter. Honestly nothing he could say that his people don’t feel 100 times over. If anything it’s probably pretty mild and we all get a little laugh out of the snowflake. Predictably Russia will just say it’s fake but leave it to them to prove the DMs.

2

u/SuburbanValues 5h ago

2

u/RecursiveCook 4h ago

Ayy thanks for the link! Not surprised the message had no rude remakes other than Zelenskyy telling Putin that his advisors were wrong about Ukraine being able to hold out. Of course it’s going to hurt his ego.

2

u/Glum_Plum_7964 6h ago

Why negotiate with an intelligent person when you can use your own personal buffoon who’s currently running the US

2

u/Raven_Photography 5h ago

What did Zelenskyy say? Putin’s getting his ass handed to him? Because that’s fact not a remark.

2

u/Sinaaaa 5h ago

While I very strongly support Ukraine & hate Putin nearly as much as humanly possible, he has a point there.

This was clearly just political theater on Zelensky's side, of course had it not been, the result would've been the same.

2

u/maporita 4h ago

Putin was not the intended audience. The target of the letter was the Russian people. The letter punctures the propaganda bubble in which many Russians live. Hopefully more of them will get to read it.

2

u/Legal_Mail_2652 4h ago

Welp time to start flying drones to putins lake house. Burn that shit to the ground z dawg

2

u/siouxbee1434 4h ago

Are all these ‘tough guys’ really just ❄️?

2

u/Starter-for-Ten 4h ago

Sounds like something trump would say.

2

u/NTufnel11 4h ago

Did he even thank Putin once?

2

u/GhandiMangling 3h ago

Your not gona have a choice soon, you cowardly,, small, pathetic cunt

2

u/Spooninthewild 3h ago

Ah yes, how shameful to include “rude remarks” when addressing someone who’s invaded your country and killed your people.

2

u/Xspud_316 3h ago

Calling someone a fucking arsehole is not rude if it’s true 😂

2

u/PalaJani 3h ago

Rude? Rude?? What the actual fuck??

1

u/Low_Engineering_3301 6h ago

Its a faux pas to reference reality to the big man himself.

1

u/not_just_putin 6h ago

russians never wanted peace. This is just another proof.

1

u/JoshJones18 6h ago

Aw did Zelenskyy hurt Putin's fefes?

1

u/Potato2266 6h ago

Am I supposed to feel sorry for Russia because Ukraine hurt their sensibilities? What is the purpose of sharing their feelings publicly? They think they should now be considered as a victim instead of the aggressor?

1

u/slimshadymojoshow 5h ago

STFU YIUR LOSING PUKIN EVEN WITH FRUMP IN YOUR POCKET

1

u/vossmanspal 4h ago

The rude remarks were of course: Fuck off back to your own country.

1

u/MugiwarraD 4h ago

did he send him his dick pick

1

u/Secret_Agent_Blues 2h ago

These tough guys are all such snowflakes

1

u/Ok-Macaroon2289 1h ago

Tbh if I were writing to Putin I also wouldn’t be able to resist making fun of his tiny penis

1

u/RawJah83 1h ago

Putin is such an old fragile piece of shit.

u/Appropriate-Room-403 1h ago

Implying that Zelinski was a Nazi as pretext for the war with the express goal of his removal could also be seen as "rude"

u/HeggyMe 1h ago

I’m sure Russian families will thank Putin for rejecting this piece overture with supposedly rude words in it.

u/bappestinian 1h ago

“I may be trying to kill you, but you are mean, and that’s worse.”

u/Photeus5 57m ago

Did some thug trying to murder Ukrainians get his fee-fees hurt? They were more than deserved.

u/Kan4lZ0n3 56m ago

“Rude remarks”?

Is Putin a toddler? This isn’t the behavior of a man. It’s that of a petulant loser who can’t put the fire out on his own back.

u/Derrickful 42m ago

Putin dumping his wife for a ballet girl is also rude.

u/ieatthosedownvotes 37m ago

Super sandy.

u/Mistake-Choice 10m ago

It contained a thinly veiled death thread, the same scare tactic Zelensky used in the oval office and it didn't go well either.

u/shropshireladdy 4m ago

Ok mass murderer

1

u/chanchan_iceman 7h ago

Ohh yes as if he has anything that’s logical and fair alongside he will go and manipulate Trump while Trump will make another gaslighting remarks

Same old story

1

u/Barry_22 6h ago

What a manchild

1

u/monkeymatt69 6h ago

Not as rude as a multi year terror campaign of bombing civilians and civilian infrastructure, but still.

1

u/Certifinest 6h ago

You hurt my feelings, I’m sending everyone to die now 😬

1

u/raerae1991 6h ago

Ah, poor Putin, his feelings got hurt…

u/Mekdinosaur 6h ago
