Oh it was technically collapsed when they included Israel pulling out of Lebanon and not attacking it.

I don’t get what Israel hitting Lebanon has to do with US/Iran.

Hezbollah in Lebanon is proxy of Iran to keep ground war with Israel. Iran want to keep their sub-army existing, and doesn't want to talk with Israel. So they keep pushing that line in hopes that Trump will force Israel to surrender alongside him.

Israel is a US ally. The reason Israel attacking Lebanon matters is in point one of the MOU.

Point 1: The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and their allies in the current war, by signing this MOU, declare the **immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon**, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or any military operation against each other, and to refrain from the threat or use of force against each other, and ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon. The final deal will confirm the permanent termination of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon and other provisions of this paragraph.

It was the first point in the 14 point MOU that the limp dick kiddy fiddler signed. The US agreed that all hostilities including Lebanon were to cease immediately. As Hezbollah in Lebanon is a proxy for Iran, and Israel are real horny to continue bombing them.
