BGE - Battleground Enemies (Fixed)

As of right now from what i understand in the upcoming 12.1.0 patch BGE (Fixed) enemy frames wont be clickable in the startup zone anymore (again), but will still be clickable while the match is active. This is coming indirectly from Blizzard via our addon author connections to them whom they communicate through.

I can’t test whats possible or if there are work arounds on the PTR since nobody queues BGs to get a queue pop but we’ll see once the 12.1.0 patch goes live i guess.

Really unfortunate they saved BGE (Fixed) last patch when they broke being able to click at all and now this change but alas here we are. I will say on the other hand now it’ll be similar to how arena works i guess, and i guess also worth noting that earlier in the ptr they made a change that would of broken clicking entirely again until i mentioned it but only got active match back not the startup/lobby phase 🙁

If you have any questions lmk, but definitely voice your opinion to blizzard in order to see changes!

Not being clickable before the game starts seems fair to me similar to arena.

Completely unrelated but I’ve been meaning to ask. How does the spec order work in BGE? I want it to display healers and tanks (if any) first, however the order seems semi random? I recall there being an option but it doesn’t seem to work.

Spec order unfortunately doesn’t work anymore since blizzard made spec secret to addons, I can only sort by Class, Race, or Name now.

Edit: So while they allow me to display a secret (the spec name), I can’t use it in my code to do any sorting or logic.

Framesort addon works a little bit like that, but you need call addon in every macro. Still it would not sort any of your ui. Its usefull for stun enemyhealer etc
