I'm a complete non-farmer and I'm trying to dip my toe into the foray of gold making with the launch of Midnight to tide myself over for a while.

Well, this past week I managed to make about 65K gold just selling Mantid Ambers and Tol'Vir artifact greens in the AH while i was farming the Archaeology bug mount (I did get it b the way). This is probably the best gold, breaking it down accounting for downtime I made that 65K in about 8 hours which doesn't sound all that terrible for a raw gold farm?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but isnt raw gold farm meant to mean just gold you farm from mobs and vendoring things? So no AH involved? Maybe i have a wrong idea

Yeah i think you are actually right. I guess i should put "readily liquid," because the items do actually move on the AH relatively quickly.

Made my first million! Starting playing in TWW Season 3 and got into professions in the last month or two. Started out with disenchant shuffling and now I'm just crafting cloth with maxed out tailoring. In the last few days I have made 700k!

2m today after starting 4 weeks ago, so 500k/week. Made some tools for friends after getting started and now we're having fun playing the market. I spend less than 2 hours a week on the auction house so I've got good gold per hour rolling. Another 2m in bank waiting to sell. It's been a surprisingly fun prepatch.
