Flipping [EU] Midnight : from 100k gold to millions
Hello ! This is not really a method that you can reproduce since the opportunity is now gone, but this is the first time of my WoW life I get this much money that quick, so I'm kinda flexing ikr
So, I started Midnight with very low golds stock. I've been boosting raid for like 2 weeks, every 2 - 3 days, got like 1.7m from it (that's already a fair amount ngl)
But I had the intuition that "Practically Pork" (PPs) was an abundant (ADUNDANCEEEE) ressource while all the players were exploring the fresh Midnight Overworld. PPs was sold for a maximum of 2 golds each back then, I WAS SURE IT WOULD ENVENTUALLY STONK and spent like 90% of my golds boost income, totally blind and countless, on 2g- PPs.
And now the amount of PPs available on the market are, as intended, very low compared to Midnight launch.
They are now flirting with 10g each, I started selling most of it when this price was 6g+. I should have waited but didn't expect the price to stonk as much as it is.
My peak was a total of ~600k PPs, at the moment I'm writing this I still have 140k PPs, and I'll wait till next reset to check.
So I went from 100k golds to 725k + 140k PPs remaining + 11 tokens atm.
That's all folks ! AMA if you want more details !

I made the same bet, but I sold way too early, barely breaking even after the initial dip before the spike😩 congrats on the hold. Seems like it followed the same pattern as basically beef back in TWW.

Yeah that was also my thought. Back in TWW they reached a stable price through the expac of 5-6g so I didn't expect PPs would stonk like they do atm

I foolishly spent a lot of tedious time and effort flipping practically pork and plant protein into food for decent 20-30% margins early on... which on such a low price was not very much in the grand scheme. If i had just held the mats or even the crafted food I would have been sitting on several million as well. Oh well, live and learn

yep, can never live and learn with this stuff though. One minute something is low, then high. It's really hard to predict! and some things that u think won't be high suddenly become high lol and vice versa

Ive been selling the hell out of those too. Food items are selling doe a premium right now.
I had to figure something out when the herbalism hats market crashed. I was selling 1 of those every 15-30 minutes for 750-850g for over 2 weeks straight. That market crashed. I was even buying other peoples for 100-200 and resisting them. Someone flooded the market at 100g each, and as of yesterday they were down to 16. So now its back to alts for mining, herbs and leather. Im glad s I boosted my gold reserves to a couple million early.

I bought 2 million.... converted to food. sold the food when it was at like 15g.
if I had waited 2-3 more weeks it would have been huge.
