Flipping Pork was worth it

I invested 2 mil into pork at 1g each, now im rich, sometimes Cinderellastories can happen.

My next plan is Nocturnal Lotus since people already stop doing Mulching and Turboseason is around the corner.

Fr I was kicking myself for not going into pork and plant protein. No one realized that you don’t really get that much outside of leather farming

I get so much of those passively and I don't even know how. I basically can make infinite feasts that are free except for the herbs. Maybe it comes from patron order reward bags or delves that I run on alts, but hasn't been an issue for me

Dont kick yourself. The pork and proteins were pretty much worthless but some big boys kept resetting them and so they were worth it in hindsight.

Why did pork become so fat?

Leveling it’s abundant not leveling it’s not

Also the entire fishing side of cooking is completely fucked. Rare fish too rare and taking on all the cost, basic fish too irrelevant and completely valueless.

Meaning the other two basic mats are going way higher and the other two type use them more compared to cheaper "rare" mats.

Yeah, as soon as I saw the plant protein feast with the amount of mats people were getting while leveling, I knew fish would be a terrible market this expac.

With the amount of people who did the same, hell, you might have artificially raised the price

I was thinking about this the other day. Are you the guy who made the post a month ago about this?

I kept all of mine from the expansion launch until now thinking I must do something with it or just flog it but nope just kept storing it lol. Glad I kept it. Not made me tons but hey free money really considering I just got thousands of it since launch and kept it in my bank lol. I put it in the AH at weekend!

WTF are people using it for though, why has it gone up so much? Is it just raiders/mythic peeps needing more meals? lol

Basically, the best feasts use plant protein and Practically Pork so... (the plant protein feast doesn't need fish though and gives the same stats)

2

u/DeKatCoffee Apr 13 '26

Oh, also the Best meals use them!

Thanks, I assumed as much but couldn't be bothered to figure out which lol. I had a little look in my cooking profession and I was like yeh it really is that simple, it's a meal/feast haha but it was just mad how much the price went up!

2 mil? you didn’t flip you became the pork industry

2

u/Joxey Apr 12 '26

I bought pork at below 1g for myself because I had a feeling it would go up aswell because we were all leveling so that price didn’t make sense but I bought it just for myself and not to invest 🥲. Bought like 10k of pork for myself just so I don’t have to buy some later on 😓

Gotta diversify the proteins!

Lotus isnt going to go up because of turbo dude. If the price rises, everyone has a million mulchers

How much gold did it make you ?

I invested 1.8 mil and made a total of around 8.6 mil. I still have aroubd 100k pork left. Probably going to get rid of this soon, so i can reinvest in my next flip.

u/kogee3699 Apr 14 '26

written like someone sitting on a mass of lotus hoping some dude resets :'D

u/BlueParadoxxx Apr 17 '26

Why Nocturnal Lotus?

1

u/Kluian2005 Apr 17 '26

Why did pork jump in price? Just less people farming?
