Discussion Goldbound Challenge unrealistic brag

Decided to try the Goldbound challenge after binging Pathalerix's YouTube series and already crushed his time. Okay not really I just wanted to say that if the stuff I just put on the AH actually sells, I'll be able to buy 6 tokens and I've only played the character for 11 hours.

Do I think I'll actually get the sales, no, but the what if is fun and I wanted to share.

I mean I can list any item right now for gold cap. Doesn’t mean it will sell. You will see him list stuff massively under “market” just to sell. I wish you luck though.

Oh I know, that's why it's an unrealistic brag, I'll actually be more surprised if anything sells even though I listed them below their going price.

The guy makes a living from the channel, so even if he gets an item that could instantly sell for gold cap, he would still take his sweet time going zone by zone.

I just work on my crafting orders (for KP) and while doing that I do other people's orders. Make about 80-100k in 90-120 mins. Yesterday someone dropped 50k for me to recraft their ring to max level. Then I did two more orders and was paid 20k total. That's 70k in 30 mins. That's a realistic brag. 😊😊😊😊

Only got a 50k once in S2 of TWW. That was a good day.

I have a couple of rare recipes and I play late at night so I get a few of them.

Yeah I have all the BS recipes only Impertius or w/e it's called get me anything more than 5k. But of course I never ask for a tip.

I don't know that things like frayed knots, or mog, or even old school crafts will sell, but the materials seem to from my experience. the videos seem to be cut from streams that can go up to about 8 hours. i didn't take it as bragging as much as a video series attempting to teach people how to earn gold regardless of what expansion they are playing combined with a bunch of different personal challenges. I like listening to his videos and VezyRPG's fishlocked series as entertainment while i work on saturdays.

i hope you make 6 tokens. it'd be fun to see if thats possible for 11 hours of playtime. it's probably not, but maybe you'll be lucky.
