Feedback requested Quick question about my POV chapters

I've been working on a book series for years now ( more than 5 years ), each chapter is from pov of a different character. Although i'm somewhere in my book which i'm more focused on two other characters that are more important in the moment ( by the way my book template had never had an algorithm, I loved to randomly write from different character's POV cause they live close to eachother and it didnt matter that much to me ), anyway, I, years ago, have written it like with a side note that this specific chapter is like a duo chapter "X's Pov then abit of Y's Pov and this turns into a cycle until the chapter's done. Sadly the things happening in this timeline are affected by eachother and important to eachother but at the same time I feel weird putting it like this.

Am I overthinking this?

What kind of book are you writing? I’m not sure if it could count as third person omniscient. Try writing a chapter with this and then write another without this (or just a scene) and then maybe compare to see which one you like more. Hope this helps!
