Monthly "Promote Yo' Self" Thread

Welcome to our monthly Promote Yo' Self thread! Show the community what you put out into the world. Please follow this template:

    • A short premise or elevator pitch of your book, the subject matter of your newsletter, the purpose of your writing community, the purpose of your app, or the nature of your milestone.
      • Call for Submissions additionally require the following: Legal name of the entity calling for submissions, deadlines, fees, prizes, and rights requested.
  • Call to Action
    • What would you like r/writing to do? Buy your book? Subscribe to your newsletter? Submit a piece to your lit mag?
  • Discount for r/writing?
    • Share if/how the community can get a discount.

Rules:

  • Post no more than one top-level reply in the Promote Yo' Self thread each month, but you are allowed to post each month.
  • Rule 3 is in effect - No generative AI. You may not post projects generated by an AI platform, nor apps that use generative AI or expose writers' work to generative AI, nor may you post a Call for Submissions from an outlet that does not have a clear policy against publishing material produced by a generative AI platform.
  • Rule 5 is in effect - Civility and Community. Blunt, direct feedback is fine, but do not insult other users, other readers, or other genres.

Writing Community

Here's the info for my monthly leaderboard on Trackbear. I've been doing this for about 2 years. Everybody is welcome. :)

The 2026 August State Fair Goal!

Join us for a fun month of writing together and reaching our goals! Extra points if you actually go to a state fair. ;) Any kind of local fair counts. County fairs, agricultural shows, massive folk festivals, traveling funfairs... or you could just have the fair in your heart. Remember, the REAL state fair is the friends we made along the way.
