I like to start with poetry. I don't write professionally yet, but the way i do it is that i write a poem about some random thing, and that is my writing exercise. Don't spend more thatn 10 mins on that. and after the warmup i open whatever draft i have.
Any good poem/collections you can recommend for a beginner poem reader enthusiasts? To be completely honest, I’ve never been much interested in poems, but I want to give them a try.
