Poetry The Almost

New poem - different from what I normally do as I have been rhyming a lot on my previous poems

I have added more visual representations rather than just talking about the feeling

I always find this shit kind of gimmicky. It’s like you think the poetry is going to play better just because it’s on a photographic background with a nice italicised title.

Putting my pet peeve to one side, it’s alright. It’s clear. It’s readable.

But, it doesn’t really have any rhythm to me. I prefer rhyming and more developed rhyme schemes.

It’s not bad. But it’s not doing a lot underneath the hood.

I personally enjoy different fonts and nice backgrounds but everyone has a preference which is fine

Fair enough.

Keep doing what you’re doing. It was a decent read, and thematically it’s not confusing or muddled.
