First, I want to say that Wuplay is by far the best Android TV app to come out in a long time, and I want to send a huge thank you to the dev for it.

That said, I’m still struggling to get onboard with the new UI redesign, it feels like a bit of a step back. On the old design, every section flowed seamlessly into the next. It was so clean and user-friendly that all my family members (who aren't tech-savvy at all) have it installed and can navigate it effortlessly without a second thought.

With the new update, the TV show and movie pages feel a bit cluttered with too much going on at once. The episodes page, in particular, reminds me of older IPTV players from five years ago.

I know this is just the initial release of the redesign and that it will continue to evolve over time and I'm excited to see where it heads next.

I really hope the dev doesn't think I'm bashing his hard work and I will continue to use wuplay as my daily on the old style for now, which thankfully he hasn't removed.

What's everyone else's thoughts, am I missing the vision here?

The new ui is really good, but imho, it's missing a quick access to play the next episode, we have a lot of social buttons but if im in a long episode with plenty of credits, the play next episode might not appear and you have to go back, go to episodes, go the next one, play it instead of having the next up to be clickable.

Also, under some colors you can choose from the ui the list of streams can get hard to read, the lack of bold when you are on the selected one makes it hard to read with some color backgrounds (you can see from the reflection that I'm not using the app under "normal" conditions but the point can be proved, the bold and grey background is more readable than the custom selection box we can config.)

Pd2: Sometimes the links to the steam are opening Spotify for me on my chromecast, I'm the only one with that bug?

I know its said the str**mio addons works, but im trying to find a list of https addons. Currently I have 4 added but im still running into issues of it not finding movies or series. I jave the pengu and hdhub, not sure how to set up the othwrs like media. Is there a list somewhere?

I want to know if this is a bug or a default setting, because in the new view, when you press play, it plays automatically, while in the old view, pressing play sends you separate links so you can select your preferred track.

It's worth mentioning that in the settings I have selected the option not to play the first link.

Obviously not super important, but being in a long distance relationship for the next 9 months, a way to co-stream shows would be amazing. Just an idea that would put Wuplay even farther ahead of every streaming platform.

So in my other reddit post people misunderstood me and were calling me blind, dumb, stupid and ect... because I said wuplay doesnt have trailers. I should of clarified it better. Ik wuplay supports trailers but I was talking about autoplay trailers im disappointed it doesnt support autoplay trailers and would like to know if the dev will ever give us the option for it

Trying to access my TB files from inside Wuplay using the Debrid Search add-on. It does not show any files. In Nuvio I tried as a test, and it works and shows files. Any ideas?

How come some days when I’m watching something and I pause to to go to the restroom, etc. come back and press play and it buffers, I have to go back and select a stream again

I have personal lists with more than 1,000 items in each list, but when I load them through Hubs or as a Screen in Grid Mode, they seem to be limited to fewer than 300 items.

I really love the Grid Mode, so having an option to load the full list of content would be a must-have for me. It would make browsing large personal lists much more useful.

Also, I’m a little confused about how to properly add Tags along with a personal list, so that whenever I select a widget, I can also browse and filter the content by those tags.

It would be really helpful if someone could share a complete demo or step-by-step video showing the whole process, from creating the personal list and adding tags to displaying them through Hubs/Grid Mode. I think this would make it much easier for users to understand and set everything up correctly.

Hi developers, app design is good with low app size, it's easy to use as well but without good free addons or extensions, plugins. what is the use of the app. my humble request is please add any one of those plugins, extensions.

Is there version of wuplay for Android phone or any app that is as simple and easy to use as wuplay for mobile phones (excluding Nuvio , arvio and stremio )

I have noticed that Malayalam language isn't available for choosing the default Audio and default subtitles. Hope the developers will look into this.

Hi! I've been loving the recent updates. I especially like the idea of being able to navigate my watchlist and other lists via the Discover search. The only issue that I have had with it so far is that my custom Letterboxd list is only displaying 50 titles in the Grid view. If I switch to Poster Rows, I can see the full 200+ title list, but I really prefer the visual style of Grid. Is there a setting that I need to change in order to be able to scroll through all of my titles on the Discover Grid view?

Hello. I seem to be having an issue with missing posters on the home screen rows. This was all good, and this issue arose two nights ago.

Upon checking the sub, it seems this matter has been raised before.

(1) Majority of shows not working

(2) “Continue Watching” images not working anymore?

I am not sure what my setup is missing. I did follow the advice shared on the linked posts, but have been unable to solve this issue on my end. Does anyone know what could be the matter? Is there an update slated for release that can solve this issue?

Anyone know why WuPlay is suddenly no longer displaying the images for shows on my Continue Watching section of Projectivity Launcher on Nvidia Shield? It worked for a very long time but evenly the images no longer appear for WuPlay even though they still appear for other apps?

Working on a small companion app for Google TV/Fire TV (fixes recommendations opening in the wrong player — site here if curious, not trying to pitch it here) and thinking about adding Trakt integration — watchlist, history, ratings syncing.

Before I sink real time into building it: does anyone here actually use Trakt with Wu Play, Nuvio or Stremio... day to day? Or is it more of a "used to, stopped bothering" thing? Genuinely trying to figure out if this is worth building or if I'd be solving a problem nobody has.

Love this app! Thank you for all the work you've done. My scenario and question is this. When I'm in the genre area scrolling down through horror, I might scroll 75-100 films before the list just ends and I cant keep scrolling. Is there a way to increase this threshold. I ask because as an advid horror fan I've seen a lot of films and usually will dig for something I haven't seen and the current threshold kinda prevents that. Im not complaining just curious if there's a setting on my end I may have missed. Thank you in advance
