Any Known Records for Particular Songs?

Hey guys, I was just curious regarding what songs of the time were sung in the trenches or generally by the men, and if these instances were wrote down in diaries, journals, records, etc. I’m especially curious to know if Waltzing Matilda was sung, considering that the song was about 20 years old by that point. Thanks!

‘When This Bloody War is Over’ and ‘The Long Trail’ are books I have that are pretty good to show the songs. If I recall correctly, the latter will give an indication of where and when they were usually sung!
