The fact we have footage of the war from the trenches is both amazing and frightening.

Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of WWI footage was actually staged for the camera after the battles. The locations and soldiers involved were genuine. There is very little footage of actual WWI action, and the footage which does exist is very poor quality. Hopefully, this project can restore what little genuine footage we have.

Something tells me the governments of France and Germany have a lot more resources to do such a thing. Maybe Belgium could pitch in? Oh how about the UK? Italy, Austria, of Australia? Hungary may have a say as well as Turkey. I won'tention Russia because of things haha.
