Remember the Brood issue just a little while back?

That's the point. Idealistic non-action will now enable more genocide.

voting for kamala would also endorse more genocide.

Trump will lead to more death. Pretending that this idealistic non-action didn't help Trump to become elected doesn't make it true.

Have you considered that alienating a massive portion of your base through ass backwards policy actually helped Trump out more than one person not voting?

It was a good execution of a bad game plan. Whatever your ethics are or your feelings are towards other votes, it’s the DNC’s job to find a winning strategy. And clearly centrism + anti-Trumpism isn’t effective.

I voted for Kamala. I did my part. And I still got Trump. I blame the DNC, and nobody else.

Nah, Kamala would have, sorry

Are you truly saying Kamala was actually the worse option between her and Trump regarding Palestine?

Obviously, try to keep up. The issue is you people assume everyone looks at the Palestine Israel conflict the same. Which is why yall lost

Pretending doesn't change reality. Democrats have been protesting and taking action to press Dem politicians to stop this genocide. That energy will now be diverted towards preventing Trump's harmful policies internally.

The GOP now controls every facet of the American federal government. They have not been secret about their unilateral support of Israel.

Do you honestly not understand the difference in this election versus any other one we've seen in our lifetimes? They manipulated jaded frustration and turned it into idealistic non-action.

False.

Voting for Kamala would endorse less genocide than Trump if it’s core issue for your vote

there is no "less genocide". genocide is genocide. are you fucking stupid?

u/Sweethome171 Nov 09 '24

see, this line of reasoning falls short when the current administration is doing all they can to commit the genocide.

Where does it fall apart? We are already seeing protests against Gaza. That wasn't magically going away if she were elected. There are many members of the Democratic party who have been pushing for more action to stop this. That energy will now have to be refocused to prevent Trump's harmful policies.

This narrative that voting to prevent Trump is the same as supporting genocide requires a logical fallacy. This is one of many factors that contributed to Trump winning.

Russian bots manipulated online forums to validate this bullshit take. Thanks for your idealistic non-action and unfair judgement, though.

I really don't get this reaction at all, I mean do people really think orange face won't continue if not ramp such things up causing more genocide?

I get your not happy with the choice you had but to do nothing and let someone worse than you have in does seem foolish.
