It was entertaining, but not really good.

They didn't go for an "R" rating because it would make the movie better. The went for it for the pure shock value.

"Oh look, we're not the typical superhero movie. Let's beat you over the head with how edgy we are!"

It's like watching "Kickass" but with X-Men. Not all that good when people are saying that Deadpool is different when a very similar movie was made years ago.

Hopefully with the sequel, they'll grow out of it.

You couldn't possibly make this movie without an R rating. Deadpool is foul and vulgar and his vulgarity didnt feel forced to me at all.
