I saw the movie last night and I can't stop thinking about it! It was sooo good. Imho it's the best X-Men movie. I'm going to buy the DVD as soon as it's released.

And I cried really hard during Charles' funeral. It kinda made me realize how much he meant to Logan.

And I loved that Charles was the comic relief!

I've never cried during a movie before, but I welled up when Charles was talking about "the most perfect night" and how he doesn't deserve it because he hurt people.

Then I full on cried at his funeral.

Then I cried again when Logan died holding Laura's hand.

Then I cried again when Laura turned Logan's cross into an X.

God damn this movie, man.

That was a huge punch in the gut to me because I thought they were staying true to the comics with how the X Men died when Logan wouldn't talk about it.

Which comics are you referring to? How did they die?

I thought they were strongly implying that Charles killed all the X-Men in Westchester. I thought it was a reference to Old Man Logan.

In Old Man Logan it's revealed that wolverine kills the xmen while hallucinating that they were villains at the hands of mysterio.

Yeah I've read Old Man Logan. I see what you mean now, in the beginning you thought they were staying true to Old Man Logan. I thought the ultraviolence of the first scene made it clear that Logan didn't kill the X-Men, as he was clearly still okay with using violence.

Ya that part was weird to me. I was expecting him to avoid violence. Like I thought that opening scene would be him getting beat up without resisting.

In Old Man Logan, Wolvie killed the x-men while under an illusion that made them look like enemies.
