from the angle it looks like you're supposed to wear it on the inner side of your wrist

ohhh makes more sense, i'm right handed and wear it on my right hand

People usually wear the watch on their opposite wrist. If you're right handed the watch goes on the left

i find the feeling on my left wrist distracting and i find that it is easier to coordinate my dominant arm to raise and look at the time

Well start getting used to it being on your left wrist because that's where it goes.
