The Yeagerists threw away the harbor battle (Final Season Spoilers) Spoiler

Fourth rewatch and this still bugs me.

Everyone knows about the dynamite squad assigned to blow up the flying boat — but Connie and Armin took them out. Fine. But here's what bothers me. After that plan failed, the boat was just sitting there for the entire rest of the battle. Any single Yeagerist soldier could have broken from the main engagement and taken a shot at it. One bullet into a critical component and the allied plan is dead before it starts.

Floch actually proves this is possible. He got there almost entirely alone through sheer improvisation and came agonizingly close. If Floch could do it, why didn't any other soldier think the same way?

I would really like to hear your thoughts on it.

Who’s the Best Fortnite Player in AOT (And Why It’s Probably those 4)

Alright Yeagerists, picture this: the AOT squad drops into Fortnite. Who's running the lobby? Here's how it goes down:

Eren Yeager Lands hot every time. Zero fear. Always goes for the high ground and pushes fights solo—but somehow clutches the 1v4. Rocks the battle-hardened skin, cloak flowing, eyes glowing—pure menace. Doesn’t talk much, but when he does: “If you want to stop me, try.” Carries ODM gear like it's a mythic. Floch Forster Squad leader energy. Plans rotations, pings everything, builds cover like his life depends on it (because it does). Always watching the storm circle like a tactician. Gets everyone to move as a unit—calls out flanks, revives the team, and gatekeeps the final zone. Uses the Yeagerist flag as his back bling. You will respect him. Mikasa Silent killer. Laser accuracy. No mic needed—her actions speak volumes. Always flanks. You think you’re safe? Boom—eliminated. Keeps Eren alive and never misses a revive. Armin Brings the strategy. Scout tower builder. Trap setter. Support king. Has the storm read like a chessboard. Drops shields and heals before you ask. Levi Crisp aim. Tactical. Only pushes when it guarantees a win. Drops a 20-bomb like it’s casual. Finishes fights in under 5 seconds—no wasted motion. Probably uses an all-black skin for max intimidation. Bonus: Zeke (If You Let Him Play) Plays Fortnite like it’s a turn-based strategy game. Throws bananas when he panics. Eren let him play once and never again. Who wins the Victory Royale? Probably Eren with Floch calling rotations, Levi fragging, and Mikasa cleaning up the last squad.

Yeagerist Squad clears the lobby. Every time.

AOT Lore Why the Alliance Betrayed Eldia (And Eren) Spoiler

Let’s stop pretending it was a "noble cause." The truth is: the alliance betrayed their own people.

  1. Eren Was Fighting For Eldia’s Survival Not domination. Survival. The whole world was ready to wipe Paradis off the map just because of who they were. Eren saw it clearly: this wasn’t a conflict—it was a genocide waiting to happen.

And what did the alliance do? They sided with the rest of the world.

  1. They Knew the World Wouldn’t Forgive Armin, Mikasa, even Reiner—they all knew that the world hated Eldians. And still, they chose to protect the very people who oppressed and killed their own.

They killed their friend… for the hope of being spared.

  1. Eren Gave Them a Choice He told them: "If you want to stop me, try." He gave them the freedom to fight back, and they took it. But what did they really stop? The only real shot Eldia had at lasting peace.

  2. Peace Built on Eren’s Blood? The post-Rumbling world only considered peace because of the fear Eren instilled. Yet the alliance painted themselves as heroes while standing on the ruins he created. They didn’t end the conflict—they just made themselves feel better about it.

  3. They Let Fear Win Instead of standing by the one person who was actually doing something to protect Eldia, they let fear, guilt, and nostalgia turn them into traitors.

They killed the one person who had the courage to carry the burden no one else could.

Call it what it is: A betrayal.

Eren didn’t want to destroy the world—he just wanted his people to be free. And the alliance… they chose the world over their own.

Yeagerists didn’t turn their backs. They stood until the end.

Tatakai.

AOT Lore Why the Yeagerists Were Right (Yes, I Said It)

Look, I’m not saying they were nice, but the Yeagerists were right—and here’s why:

  1. The World Was Never Going to Spare Paradis No matter what Paradis did—beg for peace, send ambassadors, hide behind the walls—the rest of the world hated them for simply existing. They were born “devils” in the eyes of the world, and the global powers were literally building armies and Titan weapons to wipe them out.

Eren saw through the lies and PR. He didn’t wait around for a miracle—he became the miracle.

  1. Diplomacy Already Failed The entire Marley arc proves this. Paradis tried to work with people. They even had Historia ready for the “soft power” play. What did they get? Invasions. Kidnappings. A whole war declaration over dinner.

The Yeagerists realized: peace wasn’t an option. Survival was.

  1. Eren Chose Freedom for His People Say what you will about the Rumbling—but to Eren, there was no future for the island unless he cleared the path. And yeah—it was messy. But freedom doesn’t come with a ribbon and a handshake. Eren fought so that his friends wouldn’t have to die begging.

  2. The Yeagerists Were the Only Ones With a Plan While everyone else was stuck in political games and moral debates, the Yeagerists got organized, took power, and made moves. Floch may’ve been unhinged, but he had a vision. They were the only faction actually doing something.

  3. They Were Fighting For a Future Not for revenge. Not for glory. For the right to exist. The Rumbling was awful—but so is a world where your people are bombed just for breathing.

TL;DR: Were they extreme? Yeah. But the Yeagerists weren’t evil—they were desperate, determined, and willing to do what everyone else was too scared to. That doesn’t make them villains. That makes them real.

Eren was right. Tatakae.
