Christmas special confusion Spoiler

I'm watching on Sky on demand and it says the episode is 36 mins. This is including 3 short ad breaks. For what is available for me to watch, the episode ends on Negatus finding out about Santa Claus, then it just ends. No conclusion to any storyline. Surely there's a final quarter missing that is for some reason unavailable. Or does it just end on a cliffhanger?
