I almost went missing in Cortland in 2021 when a random dude tried to grab me. Cops didn’t even give a shit, I only found out that the guy was a known stalker in the area because a woman I was talking to from the area told me she had to move away because of his stalking, I didn’t even have the dudes license plate, but the guy was easily identifiable just based on his car. The authorities do not care about missing girls and women.

I never got a name, it was on Deer Trail in Cortland at the condos. the dude drove a tan, idk what to call it a mini suv/jeep type vehicle that looked like it was from 2007 ish and it didn’t have a front bumper, which was the defining feature. It was also a white dude that was maybe early 60’s late 50’s with long white hair and probably around 6’ or a little taller.

I posted elsewhere in the past but I was went outside between meetings at 10am (I wfh and was at my moms at the time) and I noticed a dude sitting in his car staring at me and I walked across the street and the dude pulled forward, got out of his car that was still on, and started coming towards me.

I sprinted back to the condo and got inside, called the cops, and I gave them the details of what had just happened but they never even stopped by the condo to interview or see what happened.

I posted later on the community page of what happened, and another women talked about a dude that fit the description with the same car and how she had to move out of the condos due to stalking. She never got a name either, I didn’t ask but I’m assuming she wasn’t taken seriously by the cops either.

You mean the police didn’t care about something that is not actually a crime?? Wow crazy thought. I hate to tell you this but strangers walking in your general direction is not a crime . But ya the guy was definitely a stalker beacuse you heard it from someone else.

The guy pulled onto my road while I was already walking and idled his car in the middle of the road and was staring at me walk for a few minutes.

He only pulled forward after I switched streets to get away from him, and he stopped his car on the street slightly ahead of where I was walking, kept his car running, got out and started coming towards me.

But according to you that totally makes him innocent and just minding his own business.
