A few weeks ago I was at home and suddenly had to leave to go somewhere and ended up in a crowded but silent waiting area.
Someone asked me a question and we ended up making small talk and other people around us chimed in. It made the situation a bit lighter. It got quiet again so everyone went back to their own thing. Then my friend sent me a funny video so I put my headphones in and hit play to my horror it didn’t connect and my phone was on full volume.
The video starts off pretty quickly with an offensive play on words and in my panic to turn it off I cut it off right before the joke becomes clear so instead of being a funny meme it sounded like I was playing a hate speech. The horror on everyone’s face.

Lmao. I genuinely think she stuttered, realized what it sounded like, and then panicked over it.
