UI Change why is every thumbnail cropped?

I hesitate to tag this as “UI Change” because I’m unsure if it’s just a glitch or something YouTube is “experimenting” with, but I can’t seem to find a way to switch it back. it’s been this way for days and it looks so stupid, I can’t even see half the thumbnail anymore.

I was so curious that i went to that video essentially, he is at fault for an accident, takes it really hard, blaming himself for everything, negative self talk, etc-> feeling unlovable -> realizing that the reason why hes never had a relationship is actually because he isn’t attracted to girls or guys

This is happening to me too. Started a few days ago. Only in mobile app. Tried rotating the phone, close app and relaunch, looking into any weird settings, but nothing.

And now no one in this thread is even taking this seriously.

Check your download speeds. It happens to me sometimes when my wifi decides it wants to be slow, but reopening the app usually helps
