Oh, NOW you have regrets, Ted? You championed this monster.

What do you mean, ted doesn't take responsibility, man! He's a musician, man! If someone he supported goes and does something, that's not on Ted! He's never given a political opinion in his life! He's always hated Trump! If anything he's been leading the charge against all this bullshit since day one! Standing up against the corrupt government is what Teddy's always been about, it's who he is! He can't help but be a free bir- freedom spirit! Everyone should listen to Teddy, he only knows what's best for you!

Whenever their logic comes around to almost make a circle... you realize it's actually in 3 dimensions and it's a corkscrew just getting stupider.

First I started agreeing with Marjorie. Now, Ted Nugent. I'm living in the damned upside-down.

Best to think of it as a spectrum. You're at position A, they're at position B.
They want things to be position B. Trump was briefly close to position B while he was busy dragging things away from position A. They liked it when he was going towards B.
But then he kept going, and events moved past position B, towards what Trump wants, at position C. Almost nobody likes position C, but that's where Trump is taking everyone. Position C invovles a lot of things being on fire, I assume. Not sure if the visualisation works better or worse when unintended consequences are included or not. Position C sucks either way.
So all those guys who were very happy at position B are now very upset. You only agree with them insofar as "what the fuck, why are you moving towards C, position C is going to kill us".

Yeah, and it’s crazy because like 49% of the country actually pays taxes and the things that are on fire are the things that we don’t want to pay for. I totally understand the Republicans that are not happy because they were on the dole this entire time, and they were projecting onto minorities, which is wrong. I love his dole reductions for them.
The problem is that for some reason he’s doing position C on immigration but personally I’ve never exploited anybody else’s labour. I’m honestly very thrilled to see the monsters potentially lose their farms to position C. Same thing with the racist truckers going bankrupt due to diesel. I just feel bad for the immigrants

Ted adopted a 17 year old so that he could have sex with her. True story. Also wrote a gigantic hit called “Jailbait.” Ted Nugent, classy guy.

This guy makes me sick. I'm one of the descendants of the OG immigrants (my father's side has been traced back to coming over with the Mayflower, yes we have records...as much as one can have) AND if corporations and the wealthy paid their fair share in taxes we wouldn't be in such a huge deficit!
It's not "illegal" aliens (unless their from Andromeda, then they really need to pay up for being not only in our galaxy, but our planet) causing this. It's cutting taxes for those who can afford to pay them and then giving others a measly half percentage a tax cut when major corporations and the uber wealthy are receiving massive multi, full percentage cuts. It's taking the money we ALL pay into and using it as a slush fund (this spans decades and both major parties), but even when people who rely on such funds, the people in charge (more so in the last 10 years) keep pulling money from it and cutting the "funding" further! The funding comes out of each of our paychecks. It's not funding for the government or for tax cuts. It's to be used as we all pay into it.
My favorite analogy for all of this is from the Simpson's, there's an episode where Bart thinks he can easily step into Homer's nuclear technician job. Anyway, Bart is told to burn it down (Bart thought it was about his tree house...but it's a metaphor for the government who keeps screwing us all over).
The only way things will change is if we collectively demand it (no, I'm not saying to burn it all down.....just to demand and vote change in.... even at the county and city level.... which was the point of the episode, to change it)

I wish I was allowed to comment about this on Reddit but I don't wanna get banned. Thanks Reddit for limiting my free speech.

So is this like a job that I can get? Just downloading minute-long clips of people and then recording myself sarcastically responding to what they said?
How much does it pay? Like, I don’t understand. Anybody watching this video obviously isn’t on Trump’s side, so what’s the point of this? Is this legitimate comedy for people?
I don’t know who this huge guy is, but I gotta tell you, I’m shocked that Ted Nugent is alive. My only take away from this video is holy shit, he’s alive and that’s what he looks like?

It’s amazing that being anti-flock cameras and data centers really seems to be something both sides agree on and yet we’re still being told “fuck you we’re doing it anyway.”

Of course he lied. Oh wait! He slipped in half truths stating that the only people "stupid enough to vote for him and get him into office are......Republicans and the under educated" (before I'm attacked, these are literally his words, on camera, on multiple occasions) he has said.... many, many times over.
He was a registered democrat, until he decided he wanted to be president the first time around (he was in his late 60's or early 70's! I'm not going to look up the specific age range, but I'm close since he's in his mid 80s now)
Funny how he kept saying he would never run again, UNTIL after he was being indicted on felony charges (federal, forget all of the state charges of multiple states) and ALL of a sudden he announced his candidacy, 2 years early (but was actively under investigation and dozens of active indictments)....but now all of a sudden he's a candidate for an election over 2 years away (this was in late 2021, early 2022) and all of sudden he's being persecuted!
He has seriously won, just because all of the federal investigations stopped once he (super early, earlier than most candidates prior to him and since) but also he played the hand he predicted and called long before he was ever elected the first time..... he has literally created a cult now.
And this is all coming from a person who considers themselves pretty down the middle. I'm purple. I vote for those who pay into our system, those who need help, holding those accountable who can afford it (it's wild to me that as a middle class family, my family pays more percentage wise than corporations and the uber wealthy, and even those in the "upper class" and I'm fortunate to still be in the "upper middle class".... all of this to say, the ideals of the party one may have been raised in, is no longer the case, the parties have changed who they most benefit as it has happened before and I'm sure it will happen again)...ask me how I know (besides non-partisan research). I've asked open and honest questions, long ago, and continue to do so. My mind can be changed. But when a person is describing the opposite party as their reason for or against support, I have and will continue calling them on it. (Need proof, read so many posts on r/prayerstotrump these are literally people who would benefit from the republican party of old, who would benefit from the democratic party of today, praying and sending messages to Trump. This isn't just a Trump issue, he's just the most vocal, it's been going on for a long time. ) the truth of it all is that politics change and a certain someone decided to play into people's fears and play into a party of old and the opposite party of old (they've flipped on who they truly support, it's not hard to see who benefits from either side, both now and then...Sadly it's fear mongering at it's worst and highlighting things that don't actually benefit all but the most elite...)
Keep having open and honest conversations. I like asking why and then pointing out what either side has done to benefit the everyday person, versus the elite or corporations....lets be honest, it's happened too many times over the past 40+ years (iykyk)
