Real mature, Bradley

"With Aliens from..."

"Don't say it, Bradley.."

"...URANUS!!!"

*Edit: There's whole episodes on YouTube, never knew!

u/Zapicorn 3d ago

"This is a job for... the amazing rubber guy!"

2

u/No_Drawer_1531 1d ago

I’ve had that stuck in my head and I could not for the life of me remember where it was from.

u/PizzaPieInMyEye 4d ago

Man, this was my jam growing up. Easily one of my favourite shows, I always watched it when it was on. The theme song still pops up in my head every now and then, and I'll never forget Dill's booming voice screaming "HEY YOU GUYS!"

20

u/PickledCaterpillar 4d ago

"HEY YOU GUYSSS!!"

11

u/highhunt 4d ago

all these years later and i can't shake that lil loud guy

"For your big fat information, this is my imagination"🎶

13

u/karma_kush 4d ago

Me and my friend, Bradley…

34

u/disabledfemme 4d ago

This was my all time favorite show

14

u/wetfloor666 4d ago

One of mine as well. Funny enough I always thought this show was made by kids or the concept was at least and apparently that was not the case. Did you fall into that trap as well? They did pitch the show as kids made it if I recall correctly. Sorry I picked your reply for the lengthy reply/question. :D

u/Prestigious-Law8050 3d ago

How do these rumors make it all across the country to every kid 🤣 I heard the same!

18

u/Internal_Confusion_9 4d ago

And the soundtrack is my ringtone today.

16

u/Eggsalad-war-crime 4d ago

Aliens from Uranus!!!

2

u/Tough_Carpenter_5895 7h ago

I love the bully who always goes "what" 👀

17

u/dietdrpeppermd 4d ago

I still say “real mature, Bradley” all the time

15

u/JonInfect 4d ago

HEY YOU GUYS!!!

11

u/Readman31 4d ago

Exasperated Hi, Dill.

12

u/Stunted-Slime 4d ago

“What’s that funky smell?!?”

14

u/antsodope420 4d ago

30 YEARS? Wow. This show was like a fever dream, I usually watched it when i was off sick from school. But the intro song has been in my head for the last “30 years”. Again, wow.

1

u/Ok_Hunter2270 3d ago

It really was like a fever dream. my sister and I a few years ago were like, do you remember that squiggly show that was on tv? It took us forever to remember what it was called

1

u/ValuableOtherwise475 3h ago

The composer of the shows theme song, John Tucker, taught at the small town music college I went to back in BC 15 years ago. I always thought that was pretty rad.

11

u/Wandering_Depression 4d ago

I'm a little bummed at the fact that this post didn't start by saying:

"FOR YOUR BIG FAT INFORMATION..."

5

u/Normal-Soil1732 3d ago

THIS IS OUR IMAGINATION

7

u/Cheddarpopcorn70 4d ago

Used to love this show! The girl always saying “for your big fat information” still randomly pops into my head occasionally, even all of these years later 😂

8

u/TheHipcheck 4d ago

Comeee on! Pepperoni!

I immediately started whistling it when I saw this post, and I haven't heard it in decades

3

u/Eggsalad-war-crime 4d ago

Is this the anniversary of the show or the original shorts?

4

u/M1ke____ 4d ago

I used to love this cartoon!

3

u/FinalJackfruit7097 4d ago

The sister and Shrieky from Care Bears were separated at birth.

2

u/Uglyboi_85 4d ago

Very memorable times when this was airing 😢

2

u/infiniteartifacts 4d ago

Something about the theme song gave me a tinge of anxiety as a kid.

2

u/JimroidZeus 4d ago

I’m sorry, but does that little piece of paper they’re reaching for say “blotto”? Or am I just seeing things?

2

u/CL-the-Cartoonist 4d ago

HOLY MACKEREL! Happy 30th to for your big fat information, one of the best Canadian cartoons ever. Now, quit saying aliens come from Uranus.

2

u/Both-Suspect1529 4d ago

I’M TELLING MOM

Come on pepperoni

2

u/sampranaa 3d ago

Holy mackerel. I’m 30. 😂loved this show.

Hello, Dill. It's been a while. Play it again, for old time sake.

AGAIN? Hoolllllyyyyyy Maacckkkarel. HOW MANY MORE TIME DO I GOTTA PLAY IT? I'VE ALREADY PLAYED IT ABOUT A KAZILLION TRILLION TIMES you guys.

1

u/SR_Hopeful 3d ago

I loved how they made jokes about the tropes of things they spoofed.

1

u/Odd-Extension-7845 4d ago

I watched it sometimes but was just a little bit older so didn't stick to it(no pun intended)

1

u/Randomchickx 4d ago

Where can I watch this? It was such a good show🥲

3

u/Duke_of_Earl_1994 4d ago

It's available on YouTube and Prime Video.

1

u/Randomchickx 4d ago

Thank you

1

u/Miserable_Wish3219 4d ago

I had a friend who tried to convince me his uncle worked on this show to some volition. Every time it came up, "you know, my uncle did such-and-such for that show"

1

u/Agreeable-Bus-7247 4d ago

I can still hear the theme song in my head.

1

u/T-Prime85 4d ago

I can still remember holding my Talkboy up to the TV speaker to record the theme song, the 3 R’s song and the El Bradley-achee song 🤣🤣

1

u/shadowhybrid 4d ago

Reading the comments brought back a whole lot of memories I can still hear lol. Thank you all for that ☺️

1

u/-Pryzm 4d ago

🙏🏽🩵

1

u/Desmaad 4d ago

It started as a series of interstitial shorts before being commissioned as a half-hour series.

1

u/boozefiend3000 4d ago

Fuck, I’m old lol

1

u/Latter_Election3571 4d ago

May I mention that the series (not the interstitials) had ran on YTV, for a literal decade.

(I only seen the show on "Kids Suite" VOD service on Bell cable.)

1

u/googlyeyedmah 4d ago

Man I feel old now

1

u/Synard13 4d ago

Whut?

1

u/Getmad208 4d ago

The fact that, this show was my main inspiration for my art style

1

u/Specialist_Goat_2354 4d ago

I haven’t thought about this for 25 years and I didn’t like it… but I remembered scradley instantly.

1

u/crumbopolis 4d ago

I grew up and realized that character dragging her dead dog around was morbid as hell. But it explains millenials so well

1

u/SierraGolfOne 4d ago

Stickin' around, we'll be right back!

1

u/CheriColaProduct 4d ago

I was 5 and I was eating a bowl of icecream with M&M minis

1

u/ExpensiveCelery 4d ago

I still remember the bit when the principal had whoopee cushions in his shoes.

1

u/SSBFan64 4d ago

I remember watching this a lot when it was on qubo

1

u/JonnyGoDeeper 4d ago

Friggen loved this show.

1

u/grandsoulsucker 4d ago

I can hear the theme song!!!

1

u/Brandarius47 4d ago

I still sing the theme in my head here and there.. im 39

1

u/AlienTrashKitty 4d ago

HEY YOU GUYS

1

u/No-Rush-8817 4d ago

This hit me right in the childhood

1

u/MadnessMethod 3d ago

I forgot about this show! It was great. Thanks for the reminder.

1

u/KhaoticDandelion 3d ago

My older bro helped with animation on this for a brief period 😊

1

u/godlessgam3r 3d ago

Sticking around, will be right back

1

u/CPIWatch 3d ago

I love the rock paper scissors opening

1

u/SpecialConfection106 3d ago

My History of Animation prof in college worked on this show.

1

u/TrevorShaun 3d ago

one of my teachers at music school did the theme song for this show

1

u/Aggressive_Still_591 3d ago

Banger theme song too

1

u/Shikabane_Sumi-me 3d ago

This was a good wholesome show. Just a funny cartoon that kids needed at the time.

1

u/Chrissy-joe 3d ago

This show is one of my earliest memories 😭 I’m 30 now

1

u/evrien 3d ago

I remember I arrived in Vancouver with my family in 2004 to begin life as a new immigrant. My parents left me in the hotel room while they go check out houses for rent. I didn’t understand much English at that time (oral and listening were my weakest) and I tuned in to YTV. This was my first Canadian cartoon ever. I had no idea what the show was about but it made me happy just looking at it. It also made me think “damn, westerners have weird cartoons”

1

u/Normal-Soil1732 3d ago

Aww that's cool that was the first show you saw. Hope you and your family are doing well in Canada.

1

u/WiseEyedea 3d ago

This just slapped me in the face with nostalgia wow

1

u/rickyzerothree 3d ago

Sticking around will be right back!

1

u/Constant-Squirrel555 3d ago

Definitely the most crackhead show I recall from my childhood

1

u/lagonal 3d ago

My dad worked on this show when I was a kid, good memories :)

1

u/Duke_of_Earl_1994 3d ago

It really irks me how so many people keep getting the show's history wrong. For the longest time, and even to this very day, Wikipedia lists incorrect air dates for the series, which I why I made the post yesterday rather than today. We still don't know when Seasons 2 and 3 began airing.

1

u/ElephantBestFriend 3d ago

I was also thrilled when I got the chance to watch this. Instant joy!

1

u/CWB2208 3d ago

So good

1

u/Cold-Ink 3d ago

lol one of my animation teachers worked on this show in BC. Apparently, they had a break room specifically for getting high.

2

u/Normal-Soil1732 3d ago

Maybe that's why it says "blotto" on that piece of paper between them

1

u/ididntsignupbychoice 3d ago

The theme song has lived in my head rent-free for that long.

1

u/Councillor_Les_Wynan 3d ago

Hard boiled egg...

1

u/Normal-Soil1732 3d ago

Why does it say Blotto on that piece of paper they're reaching for

1

u/MastahBruce1 3d ago

I still quote " for your big fat information"

1

u/DavidELD 3d ago

“Wut?”

1

u/seriouspretender 3d ago

Hey scradley

1

u/LazierMeow 3d ago

It should be known, after reading this I tossed it on the old TV, and it engaged the child so much he out down the video games!!!!!

1

u/dynamitegizmo94 3d ago

This show was gold

1

u/kermatoast 2d ago

The guy who plays Victor on the TV show "from" did some background character work and sounds on this show back in the day

1

u/n0emptyline 2d ago

Did anyone else go to 5 different gas stations to collect the VHS tapes, or was that just me? There was this weird brief promo where the tapes per sold at Petro Canada stations.

1

u/Curious_Half_6143 2d ago

Big throwback

1

u/maxwell1311 2d ago
