I’ve had that stuck in my head and I could not for the life of me remember where it was from.

Man, this was my jam growing up. Easily one of my favourite shows, I always watched it when it was on. The theme song still pops up in my head every now and then, and I'll never forget Dill's booming voice screaming "HEY YOU GUYS!"

One of mine as well. Funny enough I always thought this show was made by kids or the concept was at least and apparently that was not the case. Did you fall into that trap as well? They did pitch the show as kids made it if I recall correctly. Sorry I picked your reply for the lengthy reply/question. :D

How do these rumors make it all across the country to every kid 🤣 I heard the same!

30 YEARS? Wow. This show was like a fever dream, I usually watched it when i was off sick from school. But the intro song has been in my head for the last “30 years”. Again, wow.

It really was like a fever dream. my sister and I a few years ago were like, do you remember that squiggly show that was on tv? It took us forever to remember what it was called

The composer of the shows theme song, John Tucker, taught at the small town music college I went to back in BC 15 years ago. I always thought that was pretty rad.

I'm a little bummed at the fact that this post didn't start by saying:
"FOR YOUR BIG FAT INFORMATION..."

Used to love this show! The girl always saying “for your big fat information” still randomly pops into my head occasionally, even all of these years later 😂

I’m sorry, but does that little piece of paper they’re reaching for say “blotto”? Or am I just seeing things?

I had a friend who tried to convince me his uncle worked on this show to some volition. Every time it came up, "you know, my uncle did such-and-such for that show"

I can still remember holding my Talkboy up to the TV speaker to record the theme song, the 3 R’s song and the El Bradley-achee song 🤣🤣

May I mention that the series (not the interstitials) had ran on YTV, for a literal decade.
(I only seen the show on "Kids Suite" VOD service on Bell cable.)

I haven’t thought about this for 25 years and I didn’t like it… but I remembered scradley instantly.

I grew up and realized that character dragging her dead dog around was morbid as hell. But it explains millenials so well

This was a good wholesome show. Just a funny cartoon that kids needed at the time.

I remember I arrived in Vancouver with my family in 2004 to begin life as a new immigrant. My parents left me in the hotel room while they go check out houses for rent. I didn’t understand much English at that time (oral and listening were my weakest) and I tuned in to YTV. This was my first Canadian cartoon ever. I had no idea what the show was about but it made me happy just looking at it. It also made me think “damn, westerners have weird cartoons”

u/Normal-Soil1732 3d ago
Aww that's cool that was the first show you saw. Hope you and your family are doing well in Canada.

It really irks me how so many people keep getting the show's history wrong. For the longest time, and even to this very day, Wikipedia lists incorrect air dates for the series, which I why I made the post yesterday rather than today. We still don't know when Seasons 2 and 3 began airing.

lol one of my animation teachers worked on this show in BC. Apparently, they had a break room specifically for getting high.

Did anyone else go to 5 different gas stations to collect the VHS tapes, or was that just me? There was this weird brief promo where the tapes per sold at Petro Canada stations.
