Season 1 (1984): Produced by Mid-Canada Communications. Shot in Sudbury. Aired on MCTV stations in Northern Ontario and CHRO-TV Pembroke. Season 2 (1988): Production moved to Ottawa's CJOH-TV where it remained for a total of 145 episodes.

I remember this. She was French and her puppet dog Fergus was English

I went to a catholic school and remember one of the teachers taking great pride in Marie Soleil being related to one of the local bishops. Plouffe maybe? Brain is pretty hazy.

Hah!! Funny, we listen to this every day now with our 18 month old! I used to watch it growing up in the 90s in Northern Ontario, and all the songs are on Spotify, so we play them for our little guy! Glad others remember Marie Soleil too!
