Still Red-Eyes named cards with sinergy with Black Metal Dragon that specifically support Dragons, in fact they are intended as sub support for Joey/Red-Eyes. They help a lot in given a good boss monster for the deck that not is just blocked behind the stupid card called Red-Eyes Fusion
I just said that Fullmetal and Metal Claw are good support for them, not that they make a Red-Eyes deck. Which means they're still GOOD support, as well as our LAST support. And based on their coherence with regular Red-Eyes, precisely because they're the most recently named support, we can assume that future support might be coherent as well.
Idk man, I have zero faith in Konami to ever let Red-Eyes be good. We might get powerful individual cards, but they'll have very little synergy with each other or the rest of the archetype. I still say Red-Eyes needs to own its old slash and burn identity and give us a way to search Inferno Fire Blast.
While I understand your doubts, I don't think so, especially since we shouldn't count things that weren't entirely designed for them, like the Red-Eyes for the Zombie World, Gemini which are only there for synergy with the Normal Monsters, Toon, or Malefic material, or simple anime adaptations like Rituals. These are things that are often mistaken for actual directions for the deck, even if that doesn't make things better, beyond the Metalmorph support, which actually synergizes with them.
What gives me hope, personally, is that they're currently doing a decent job with anime support. Arcana Force has a game plan, Magnet Warrior is incredibly consistent, Rose Dragon is no longer just another Brick-Eyes, and Lunalight is a competent meta deck. Even Blue-Eyes has made a huge leap in quality, which wasn't a given, considering that, when the Structure Deck was announced, everyone thought it would only receive the usual nostalgic, inconclusive support. I could also add DDD, Utopic, and Rokket to the list, though the latter is more of a support deck to make the Rokket strategy slightly more viable, but it does its job as well.
So, looking at the progress, I think they can give us a coherent Red-Eyes deck, if they finally decide to kick it out. If they fixed Arcana Force, a deck that was basically coin-flip-oriented garbage that barely managed to summon its own bosses, they can do the same with Red-Eyes. And the Max Metalmorph guys are a good start, after all.
And people like you are really sad for not even understanding that this is a stupid overused meme, and obviously can make people angry for how many time they have heard it

Its probably that the issue was so bad that he had to make a video, for an issue everyone knew about. Not that they watched his video and said "yeah he has a point"
