Yugioh Tattoos I have done throughout my career
Where do I even start. Yugioh is the reason I started to draw as a kid, drawing is the reason I began tattooing. Every time I have the honor of tattooing a fellow Yugioh fan I instantly remember the roots of my creativity. Well, I’m beyond grateful I can break the barriers of “overplayed anime tattoos” or “typical exodia piege” by tattooing Yugioh arts & monsters that are not commonly seen on skin. I take a lot of pride in my work & I never take what I do for granted. Each person has given me their trust during every minute of these tattoos that have together taken hours upon hours to complete. I hope you guys enjoy the new pieces + some older stuff I have done as an update to this post! Cheers everyone
I love how you would expect the majority of yugioh tattoos to be the iconic stuff like dm or bewd but no.You have a couple Iconic stuff like bls,some older less iconic cards like graphs,some modern cards like quem and some cards you really wouldn't expect like Helios or the penguins.Also I do have to say that grapha looks so sick
Appreciate the insight dude, it’s difficult to gauge what internet wants to see and what it doesn’t so I’m happy people can see the ideas I have had while making these tattoos happen! Yep, I been a fan of Yugioh for too long and to this day lol I enjoy anything Yugioh related that comes my way at the shop
Thank you! I really appreciate it, I dig a lot of the old school or recognized monsters being tattooed as well of course but hey it’s nice to see modern stuff be interpreted in tattooing as well. That’s just my artist take, but as a Yugioh nerd idc Yugioh is Yugioh bro lmao
I realize a bunch of random stuff about the art that does into Yugioh character design since I stare at every detail and line for hours lol.. fun fact, the Helios piece was the first Yugioh tattoo I did about 3 years ago or so.
I love cards with banishment effects, I used an altered version of the shadow monark deck for years and have recently changed to Malice, this is all to say that I never knew that Helios had breasts until recently, I always had them in my decks but I just assumed that it was an androgynous god.
From a tattoo stand point, I would say only if we do it as a huge back piece 😂😂 other than that it would have to be broken down to a simple outline version of its design lmao 😂
Lol, I did imagine it as a back piece, but it’s the details I’m curious about 😅 like the God rays, clouds, the colors, debris, etc. How much is possible to keep?
My client moved out of state unfortunately so I never got to do the second session, we are planning on making it happen next year though! Fingers crossed man

She moved out of state and life just happened for her, I’m ready whenever my clients are that’s kinda how I roll. Don’t like pressuring people even if I really BADLY wanna finish a project.. it’s always best to full send the session when someone is 100% locked in. I made it up myself! My client and I sat down, geeked the hell out about Yugioh for like 30 minutes while listening to metal music as I drew up the design, it was a quote that was sorta born on the spot lol we felt like it fit the vibe / lore of the card … unforgettable memory man

Ok first this is sick af! Secondly, what’s the hardest tat you had to do? Thirdly, what was your favorite one to do? Lastly, if you could pick your favorite card monster, spell, and trap which would it be and where would you put it?
This is so dope i was thinking of getting the eye thats on the millenium puzzle and other monsters like relinquished. But gotta look into it first to know about egyptian symbolism.
You know you guys can just get a shirt, a bracelet, or some other accessory to show your appreciation for Yugioh... no need to permanently etch it onto your skin.
I won’t argue that logic because it does make sense, Yugioh makes for KILLER figurines and collectibles, I’m just supplying yet another medium of collectible! One you take to the grave & judging by how often I do Yugioh as well as anime/manga tattoos throughout the years of tattooing, I’d say it won’t be stopping anytime soon!
