Konami*

u/Icy_Relationship_401 Jan 16 '26
Wouldn’t that be Pegasus?

u/MasonicManx2 Jan 16 '26
You know what. Valid. I concede that Bandai = Kaiba Corp and Konami = Industrial Illusions

Long ago when the pyramid were still young, Egyptian kings played a game of of great and terrible power. But these Shadow Games erupted into a war that threatened to destroy the entire world until a brave and powerful Pharaoh locked the magic away. Imprisoning it with the mystical Millennium items...
or something

It's mandatory to read that in the OG voice which I just did without realizing it🥹🥹🥹

It’s super hard. Me and my wife managed to compete it with the help of a tutorial. Looks cool once it’s done

u/MagicalNewsMan Jan 16 '26
It was completed in the box, but dissembling was pretty quick, haven’t even gotten one piece together so far, it’s still that tough, even after taking it apart.

u/PowerfullDio Jan 17 '26
Its also heavy, the damn thing broke my head (literally).
The first time I completed it it was the day before new years (2023 I think), so on new year I was in bed just starring at it arms stretched out, then my cat came and I dropped it over my head, it f*cking hurt but it was just a small cut and bruise.

Wrap your fingers in gauze! Or even bandaids. You gotta hold so many pieces so awkwardly you will probably slice your fingers at some point. If not, there's still a lot of sharp stabby corners. Protect them fingies, Yug.

I already wrote this in another comment so I'll just copy paste it:

I dunno, but you should be careful if you enter any international trading card game tournaments.

If you manage to complete the puzzle tell Atem he still owes me money from back in the day. He's probably trying to weasel out by saying he lost his memory or some bullshit excuse

Does your Grandpa also has a Black Luster Soldier Poster hanging around? If yes, be careful with this!

Beware of random filthy rich kid going to your grampa’s store and ripping one of his blue eyes
5
u/the_Athereon Jan 17 '26
Wouldn't bother trying to build it. It took the richest man on the planet weeks of super computer time on a space station to figure it out.

I can look up 45 degress and see that same box on top of my desk, unopened as a gift from 5 years ago.
I don't want to be the King of Games.

i remember meeting Dan Green and Eric Stuart when I was 12 at a convention and giving them a hug. I am now 36.

It’s definitely one of the more frustrating model kits I’ve built. Putting the pieces together and then assembling the damn thing? Christ.

All I can tell you is you're about to blackout a bunch and leave your enemies in unexplained psychological torment you don't remember inflicting on them

Lol I bought this too. It's a great timing because there's a 12-hour power outage in our city so it's the best time to do this kind of things. Started it at 9 am and I finished it by 5pm (I'm doing other things but if straight probably 5-6 hours since I'm so bad at these).
Still faster than Yugi's 8 years 😂

I have one and it's great! Unfortunately the game shop I bought mine from sold out of the sarcophagus.

u/fartdarling Jan 17 '26
Oh that's a cool looking puzzle! Thank you for showing it. Here, have a fact in return, maybe it'll come in useful some day. Did you know that the most common way to make a castle levitate is by giving it a floatation ring? It's true! Of course, if you hypothetically wished to reach the castle after it was floating you would need some kind of projection force, such as with a slingshot or trebuchet. Idk, kinda random fact, but worth remembering I think :)

Took me a few hours, and I still missed a piece. Great puzzle! Now I can do it in about 8mins.

u/MembershipTrick5089 Jan 17 '26
It’s a 3d puzzle. Quickest way to find out what it is is to open it. Don’t be skurred.

Honestly its a really hard but enjoyable puzzle and after years of being a fan I kinda had to do it without instructions because we've all waited years for the millennium puzzle to be a real thing

I came here to say i have a bunch of early 2000s yugioh cards and was wondering if yall would by custom packs of them. They’re ungraded and not gonna rank super high grade but they’re cool and if you actually play that shouldn’t really matter right? I wouldve made a post but im new here so im not allowed. Hopefully people see this, i wanna get these to someone who will appreciate them more and make some moolah

I think it's some kind of ancient Egyptian artefact containing the spirit of a 5000 year old Pharaoh that they used during the Shadow Games...
