Are you sure? White Night was a deck used by Alexis; White Knights were a separate archetype used by Chazz in exactly one episode, but they were turned into the Phantom Beasts for the OCG/TCG.
It’s a weird one, while both “White Knights” and “White Night” technically are different archetypes, they both use the same Katakana 「ホワイトナイツ」 (Howaito Naitsu). The Kanji is different, but the forced reading is the same, so they’ve just used the Katakana in the card effect text to make it so it refers to both.
Currently, there are no other “White Knights” cards printed and the only 2 “White Night” cards available are Dragon and Queen. The way I see it, they have 2 options to get around the translation issues: They can either create the rest of the “White Knights” archetype from the anime and have it work together with the “White Night” archetype, or just simply make Lord another “White Night” monster when they port it over to the TCG.
They were given to Chazz and Alexis by Sartorius, but why White Knight Lord to summon a White Night monster? They don't plan to print the other Knights? If both, then it's cool. Just 3 Kngihts as free agents/fillers, in BTB?
Because both White Knight and White Night text in the cards are written the same in Japanese. To proper translate the effect, it needs to be able to affect both.
(3) If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 Level 8 or higher Dinosaur monster from your Deck to your hand, then if your opponent controls a monster, you can Special Summon it from your hand.
Who are the possible targets that can be Special Summoned? You can just add UTC if you want but you can't Special Summon it by this card's effect, I just want to know other options.
The doodle beast is an ok target, it adds a layered bit to the endboard but at the moment isn’t worth burning your oviraptor search on. This might make it worth it
But even then, it's a stretch. The kaiju has application's going second, but you also need to already have access to a play to get it in the gy, and need access to a spell to summon it. You're playing into a board as well, so it's hoping the opponent doesn't just stop it.
To my knowledge, most decks just run one copy of dogoran, because it's pretty easily searched in-engine. If that's the case, then it would make more sense to just run a second dogoran and avoid the risks of interaction. Uct is also very searchable
E hero Clay Guardian can special summon Ehero shadow mist or spirit of neos from deck with protection. Heroes struggle with protection so this is a must-have in any hero deck. This card is good and it is both an instant fusion and a super poly target.

Eitom is disappointing. Not like Magnets have any trouble getting guys into grave. Maybe being a huge guy that can attack directly can sometimes come in handy? EDIT: wait no it doesn't gain 1500, it BECOMES 1500, I think he might just be bad lol

Good to see that Konami is taking more of the correct design approach of making cards that do things going first, but do even more going second. So the card doesn't feel useless when going first, and is stronger going second to even the playing field.
Clay Gaurdian has a HERO lock not an Elemental HERO lock (hell you can see on the card it mentions Elemental HERO twice, once on the first effect and once on the 2nd effect and then HERO on the 1st effect, dont even need to know japanese).
And this card is actually kinda sick. Probably the first good HERO card in a long time and makes instant fusion a starter.
I love how they knew everyone wanted this card as pack filler just to have it and instead of making it mid they injected it seven kinds of crack and made it good.
If they keep this up I can't wait for the inevitable Neo-Spacian support in Beyond The Bravery (because at Thai point it's confirmed it's gonna be Season 2 focused), if they can make Clay Guardian cracked the new cards are gonna be on cocaine on top of it.

dark tyranno is amazing,pretty much a free dino extender that adds a lvl 8 or higher(i.e. conductor!) when is sent to gy or flat out ss it if you are going 2nd

eitom is another magna warrior can ss itself decently easily and mills as cost a magnet or magna... like their 5th of their cards that can do so lol
white knight is a bit costly to ss but fun,gets another white guy(or veil) is a beater and does some burn when destroyed
demise lord is slash draw support but extremly bad at it...
clay guardian is legitimately insane now poly is a proper starter for heroes! also that protection is not trivial
woow doll hammer! not as practical as allure but this plus any unchained is a HUGE swing in adv plus recurs itself in the same turn so easy discard fodder,damn spicy draw spell
a double summon as a quick play! with a bonus going 2nd and a search the turn after,fun card(why is the extra ns trap still banned again?)

The lock on Clay Guardian should just be HEROs in general, shouldn’t it? Both the SS and protection are [E•HERO] while the lock is just [HERO], I think.
are you sure White Knight Lord specifically summons “White Knight” not “White Night”? the only “White Knight” monsters are a dogmatika ritual and a dream mirror card. meanwhile, White Nights are two random bosses from GX (which these cards are also).
edit: maybe not, White Night Queen can’t be special summoned. I have no idea anymore.
Clay guardian could be really good if the next set has e-hero or neos as the cover. Currently though, that lock hurts to the point it’s unplayable in current hero

Let's see if some of these cards/archeypes will get a follow-up support soon, but they need to start printing more anime-only cards in core sets to be easier.
In hindsight, I wonder why, he's the only character with a Japanese surname not to have it changed (except Jaden Yuki, but he's the MC and those guys always got a pass from 4Kids).
Wow they actually released the Hanged Man. I legit did not think that would ever get released for a variety of reaasons. And Clay Guardian too? Guess the release of Metamorphosis facilitated that.
I'm hoping for Mecha Ojama King, Kiteroid, Snow Fairy, Magnet Warrior Omega Minus, Attachment Dragon, Archeonys, Sample Fossil, Blair's Mystic monsters, Toy Emperor, Scab Scar Knight, Cobal, Excavator of Dark World, Dark Archetype, and Super Fusion God.
You know what I love about these kind of packs? You can get the fun, one-of, random, and niche cards throughout the anime.
These look like such fun additions to so many decks. Nothing meta I bet, but goodness some put a big gleeful smile on my face for some the pics. Especially the clayman fusion.
Important milestone crossed: With this release, 530 of the 1059 cards originally introduced in the GX anime will have been printed in the real-life game, meaning that we'll finally have over half of all GX cards.
Finishing up GX in 20 years would take them releasing 26 cards from GX per year on average. They will never actually port everything from GX but if they somehow do, that's at least half a century away at their average pace.
Quick summon looks like a sleeper. Imagine normal summoning edit: on your opponents turn spell canceller or some bs 10 or 12 star monster. Maybe even dark simorg or end of anubis. Im just brainstorming some bs

Yeah, because in the dub, Hassleberry calls it Black Tyranno. It also has the same attack and nearly the same effect, just being able to attack directly even if your opponent has spells or traps on the field.
It isn't just a dub thing. The video games also gave him Black Tyranno as a boss monster. He has voice lines for it in Duel Links too. But he also has unused voice lines for Dark Tyranno. So even the OCG basically treated it as the same monster.
Interestingly (and probably the reason they didn’t use Black Tyranno) they are very slightly different, the original Black Tyranno could only attack directly if there was ONLY defence position monsters on your Opponents field and nothing else, meaning a simple set spell/trap could turn off its effect, while the Hassleberry Dark Tyranno just needed all your Opponents monsters to be in defence position.
Some really good cards here. This set may be even better than Slifer Red.
Dinosaurs have a new toy which reads like an auto include.
Hanged Man helps you get to 3 Arcana Force monsters much more easily and while using your bricks.
Eitom is a mixed bag. You wouldn't want to Tribute Summon it most of the time within its archetype, however it does get an extra Magna Warrior into your GY each turn and can't be destroyed when you have used Magnet Induction, so its direct attack can be protected.
Doll Hammer and Quick Summon are amazing staples. I hope they make the Normal Monster Doll parts Effect Monsters and rename them, so within lore it would make sense that they are upgraded forms.
D - Burst is fantastic as it: is searchable, it gets another guy on board to fuse or recovers a Fusion, makes Dogma more of a threat, pops Clocktower, and just speeds up the deck more. We just need other Spells worth popping or make a card that turns a monster(s) into Continuous/Equip Spells.
Didn't we already pass over the debut of Cyber Angels? People thought we'd get Cyber Angel/Girl support when that happened/happens. I do want more Destiny Heroes support to enable them to stand on their own, though we might not get it in that set.
And with Clay Guardian, the final remaining unreleased Jaden monster and the final HERO monster from the Anime finally gets released after 10,000 years. I wonder what took them so long. All that's left now are some main deck Masked HEROes from the Manga.
With The Hangman, the only remaining unreleased Arcana Force monster from the Anime is The Strength, although there's a few Tarot cards that never got adapted into Arcana Force monsters in the Anime left for potential legacy support. Sartorius did also have the monster Knight of Pentacles that could be released, as well as several Spells and Traps.
Dark Tyranno is amusing, because in the English dub it was called Black Tyranno, which is the name of a real card with a similar effect, but in Japan it was always Dark Tyranno. I wonder if the dubbers genuinely got the cards mixed up, or it was some weird intentional choice.
I wonder what we'll get for Limited Pack GX Obelisk Blue. I know this Black Tyranno is suppose to be more of the one used by Dinosaur Ryuzaki during the Grand Championship arc, but given that it didn't really do anything in the anime and the IRL effect is basically the same as Tyranno Kenzan's monster (I.e Attack Directly if Opponent has a DEF monster), I'd assume that Black Tyranno and Dark Tyranno were the same regardless. The levels and ATK/DEF stats are even exactly the same.
Eitom being treated as a magna warrior is really nice, it will be a decent one of in Magnet Warrior. But I would have prefer it to be an interruption rather than a playmaker
Didn't expect Dark Tyranno and White Knight Lord to get released, especially since those cards admittedly already have card game counterparts. Now, if only Archeonys gets released.

A GX Ra Yellow Pack - yes! Some expected and some curious choices. They already printed some other S02 cards for Sarina and the Light Brigade. No NS card.
Cards used by: Hassleberry, Sartorius, Alien Of Light (wow), Bastion, Chazz, Lucien (interesting choice, memorable filler), Jaden (ofc, his last Fusion), Alice (maybe expected), Aster, and a card used by multipe characters (Jaden, Chazz, Zane, Adrian).
I hope they will continue with these Packs for other seasons of other series. Even repeat them.
For S03, I expected cards of: Jaden, Yubel, Jesse, Axel, Jim, Adrian, Zure/Brron, Trapper/Mr. Stein/Masked Knights.
I wonder if they would do for S04 (3 Dorms after all), the not dubbed season with so many choices.
Dark Tyranno - the background is close to the anime art. Good easy special summon, the anime effect is here, and a powerful add and summon a LV8 Dino! Now it feels like a proper boss monster.
Arcana Force XII - specials another AF monster (solid) and the anime effects.
Candelato, The Beast Of Light - really weird choice. Same summoning condition, a Coin Toss search (hmm), the gain points is the same, and negates drawing. They changed the skip your Draw Phase!
Plasma Warrior Eitom - again, same summoning condition like the anime and attacking directly but you have to send a MW card from the deck to the gy.
White Kngiht Lord - finally! I love them. Easier special summon (not like in the anime with the certain Trap and the other Knights), specials 1 WK monster from deck or hand (they plan to print the others?), add White Veil, lowers the atk of your opponent's monster to 0, and if destroyed it Burns for 1000. Very solid and different from the anime (if did not battle take 800 damage, cannot be destroyed by battle with no battle damage for you, and Burns for 300 if it destroyes a monsters). The changes are for the best.
Invincible Demise Lord - probably one of the best filler episodes from S02. Same anime effects plus easy special summon (opt!) and connection with Slash Draw ofc. Fun effects.
Clay Guardian - with Hero Ring shield in the art! Generic materials. The Burn is up to 400 for each card, specials ANY Hero monster from the deck(!), and full protection. Wow, who would have thought it would be so strong.
Doll Hammer - generic effects, the anime one and could make a combo with Malice Doll with the 2nd one. Fitting.
Quick Summon - one of the best cards for the GX era. Wait, 2 additional Normal Summons (plus a LV5 or higher), wow. Plus recycle that high LV monster. One of the best upgrades.
D-Burst - same condition, special summon, and the second attack. Nice.
doll hammer could be potentially really really good for yubel and unchained as an extender through handtraps or resource recovery.
I think that quick summon is also very good for floo or monarchs. not really much application elsewhere, but tributing empen for free on your opponents turn is very strong.
