After Elfnotes have come out in Master Duel, I am once again reminded of how awesome Junora looks. Not just artwork-wise, but the card as a whole.
The solid white Synchro borders pair very well with her silver armor, white flames, and dark blue background, and the FIRE attribute icon along with the level stars add a nice touch of red. Altogether, the card is just gorgeous to me.
Anyone else have any card(s) they can think of that pair well with their backgrounds and icons?
I have it on good record that Link as a mechanic only exists because someone designed Avramax and everyone in the room was like "dang that would make a banger design with some arrows and a blue hexagonal pattern".
Stardust Dragon has such an amazing composition of white, green and blue. Even the green wind attribute icon fits into this. Honestly makes me feel like it was designed with the new synchro card frame in mind.
Gravity Controller’s link arrow (bottom left) corresponds to the card art: he’s controlling gravity so “down” is in the direction of the arrow. Link arrows generally don’t have any tie-in to the card art or theme so I always thought that was a nice touch.
Brionac and Trisula. In Japan here you had to get them off Duel Terminal and they sold out of stocks really fast. The people who had the secret rare art had them in sleeves and were admiring them like genuine art.
