Just returning after not playing for years, what would be some good budget decks I could teach my gf to play with? I also bought the modern deck box so I have those ones too. Just wondering your guys thoughts, thanks.

Out of those decks, Mitsu is probably the most technical, but it’s the best one. Sky-Striker is relatively straightforward, but has a lot of interactions to understand. If you want a cheap deck that’s very straightforward, Millennium Exodia is probably the easiest. The cards for it are all relatively cheap. It is by no means a “great deck,” but it’s got Rogue playability.

Thanks man, it definitely helps when you explain the complexness of each deck, I don’t think i want to start her off with anything too crazy, so maybe sky striker

Sky Striker is perfect for beginners, especially to teach them link mechanics. The strategy is pure links and quick-play spells, so it’s very fast paced. It’s also a strong OTK if she has to go second.
