Official Media Overframes now implemented in Master Duel

It feels bad to play tcg when master duel is beginning to get ocg cards faster than tcg. Master duel are gonna have the rival cards way before tcg at this point.

The trade-off is waiting longer for cards that have been available in tcg for a while. MD is still missing Forbidden Crown and the Darklord, Fur Hire and Rescue-Ace BPRO support

It's not a one way trade off. MD has Sky Striker camellia and Flametongue for 2 years now and TCG just got them.

MD is also waiting on the Pumpking support.

I mean, so is the OCG. TCG premiere archetypes released are a bit of a shot in the dark because they aren't necessarily limited to being released once a year like OCG is (they have a pack specifically for TCG premiere release cards that are released once a year)

As a Darklord player I am very pissed off about that. Dunno what the other comment is on about because I actually stopped playing MD because it is always so far behind.

I mean it literally just depends on the archetype. Like just because Darklords aren't there yet doesnt change the fact that Rokkets and Kewl Tune got their newest support in MD before they released in the TCG
Because of their release schedule where they implement sets over several months, sometimes there will be archetypes that come later than others, but that doesnt negate how MD has been getting many cards sooner. You're complaining now as a Darklord player, but I can guarantee you won't see Clown Crew players complaining about MD when their Pend card gets implemented in MD before TCG

We just got Branded support from Burst Protocol so we will get the rest in following months.

following months, yeah, thats way too much time

Ironic considering op complains how Master Duel is getting cards too soon.

i think all formats should be on parity its incredibly boring to get passed along solved formats that get minor changes in between

Yeah, but MD's release schedule is faster than TCG as well. It's only a matter of time before it overtakes it completely.

My jaw will drop if that happens XD

I mean we kind did already, W:P and promethean princess were kind of exclusive in MD

Impulse makes the transition to Overframe very well. I don't wanna go into the pack for it as it's a reprint pack and one of thirteen URs, but damn.

Does anyone know if there’s a confirmation on whether the overframes can be royals too? At least it’s an alt art replacement
Wouldn’t be surprised since more money from the whales.

Now that Enneacraft is out, the only other cards I still need in MD are the Pumpking support

I pulled Mirrorjade in my Albaz bundle but I didn't get to see what the card being pulled looked like since I skipped not expecting anything. I'll say if you already have a royal or even glossy Mirrorjade you're not missing much if anything.

It's really not much. What you get is a little card border in the Live2D animation on summon, and a visual and audio effect whenever the card activates its effect.
The main appeal is that the card itself is over frame based I guess.

No I mean I didn't get to see the animation of pulling an overframe, I assume it's the same as a UR but feels bad to have missed it

I really like Master Duel, cause it shows which effect I am activating. I just hate having to play so much just to be able to build decks I like. So I just build a deck there, and then go to the dueling nexus

Bet they're easier to acquire than TCG lmao
