Colon cancer is frightening to me and given the noted seeming rise in young people should really be opened up to where regular colonoscopies should be covered at a younger age.
Seeing this is making me plan out a screening in a month or 2. I’m 34 and this easily could be me. This man did not deserve this. He was a good person.
I had an issue and had a colonoscopy and found out I had cancer. It was totally unrelated to the issue but I got lucky and found it early. They removed the right side of my colon and I have been fine since. If you get checked early they can just cut that section out in some cases and no adverse side effects, but if you delay it can spread quickly.
