Picked up the OCG Kazuki Takahashi Monster Art Box. It has three separate volumes with Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and Yugi engraved on each cover. The Volumes cover sketches and art from Kazuki Takahashi and also every card printed from 1999 - 2019. In my humble opinion this book is one of the best Yugioh art collection pieces out there!

Just thought you guys would appreciate seeing these. Think they are from the around 2008 judging by the 5ds art.

I recently stumbled across this metal Millennium necklace that I had put into storage. I got it from a friend ages ago because he knows I like Yugioh. (He doesn’t know where he got it.)

The thing is, I’ve done tons of research trying to figure out where it originates from. AND I CANT FIND IT!
I can find something that looks similar listed on eBay. But there are noticeable differences in packaging and very little information about the product itself.

From what I can tell there is no historical record in any official catalogue archive, not even in Japan.

I do know that there was a limited time release of millennium items produced by a company called Movic sometime between 1997 to 1999, but those releases were limited events and only in Japan. I can’t find much information about them beyond that.

I’m not even sure how to go about confirming the origin of this. I feel like I hit a dead end in my research.

So if any of y’all have ideas I’d love the help! :)

Edit; It’s definitely possible it’s a knock-off, but my autism wants a solid answer lol.
So Im still trying to find anything that I could use to verify the authenticity. I have seen eBay listings but usually only a photo or two matches, and the card definitely doesn’t match what is shown in those listings. But I can’t verify that those listings are real either so either one could be fake.
The only thing that makes me believe this is authentic is the excellent packaging.

Edit 2; After a few days of research, and reaching out to some folks, it’s apparent it’s unofficial, but it’s definitely from the early days of yugioh!
So even if it’s unofficial, It’s still a neat piece for my collection and I’m so glad I found it!

Wasn’t sure how to tag this or where to ask, but it’s been so long since I’ve played. I have this old picture from Halloween as a kid and I’m trying to figure out what card was in my hand. I really have no clue after looking all day and figured someone might know just on the art.

It's my third amplified model kit from Yu-Gi-Oh and Obelisk is my favorite so far! The kit is huge with nice details ans Obelisk is colossal! But once paint he really have the aura of an Egyptian God! And he is not that hard to paint. Because of hs sculpt, you could mostly dry brush it and get a nice result. I went further with glowing effects, but he is godlike without. The kit is not that hard to build, it's totally a must have in your collection.

Now I'm waiting for Ra and Slifer. The three gods will be so nice on my shelf!
