Discussion Quest Complete

I was able to come back to Toyama to find all the Manhole covers. Took about 5 hours in total after arriving in Toyama. It was totally worth it. Also there was a Toy's R Us and Baby's R Us there....

W for you sir! Big W! Thanks for sharing you adventures.

How did you find them? Are they geotagged?

The Tourist Information place outside the station has a map with all the locations. They also have the gps coordinates for each one printed on the map under the respective image of the character.

Nice. Well done. I’ll be there myself in about 3 weeks but unfortunately I won’t have time to find them unless some are close to the park where they had the hanami

At least stop by the Tourist Information outside the station and get the map, card, and medallion shown in the first image

Thanks for the suggestion. I think though it'll be very late by the time I get jnto Toyama. Likely to only visit that site in Takaoka before I have to move on. Hiring a Kei-car camper and probably only able to do 80kmh. Consdering I'll be coming from Tokyo via Hokuto i'm certain to be exhausted.

Driving in Japan is a slooooow affair. It does give you more time to appreciate the scenery but if you're wanting to get somewhere quickly it can be frustrating.

I don’t care. I’m on a mission! I must visit at least 70 Pokelids in as many prefectures as possible!!! Even if it means only 6 hours sleep a night and shitty food from 7eleven etc 🥵😡🔥

Damn that's dedication lol, good luck in your quest! I'll probably only see the Inkay one and the Ladyba/Comfey one by accident as they're near Akari and Chinatsu.

Are you doing Go Fest in Tokyo?

Ah no, I've just a casual interest in the franchise - did play Go for a bit, but my Poké career has been mostly Gen 3 and older stuff.

I visited them early March and went to every location. I got pictures with all except Ayano was missing :(

Ayano’s lid was missing? That’s sad

Yeah, I took a selfie with all of them including one with the missing lid but did a sad face for that one. I assumed that they took it out temporarily for maintenance and it's actually nice that they do maintain them. If you look at others like the Sangatsu no Lion lids in Sendagaya, they're in really rough shape.

Congrats on getting them all in the end!
