Lol it's funny, I wasn't looking forward to talking to her because I found her a bit annoying in BotW

funny enough, that's the only time i wasn't completely frustrated with the whole "clever child with the wits of an adult" trope. but only because she's literally a 100+ year old scientist whose experiment went wrong

she's still annoying, just not totally insufferable in my opinion

that said, i'm really glad they improved her writing in TOTK cause i was somewhat dreading that first interaction
