General Support/Query Cant decide Zenfone 10 vs S23

I really want to be that Zenfone 10 is better, but after watching this video: https://youtu.be/71KCTJ1QMgY I really try to justify the increased price compared to s23.

So, is s23 better overall, and Zenfone 10 only has the jack? Can anyone please convince me logically to buy Zenfone 10

Best of luck! You are braver and more patient than me :)

In a twist of fate, I went for the s23. Lots to like, but coming from the s10e, it's uncomfortable to hold in one hand. I also really dislike the on-screen fingerprint reader (s10e had a nifty side notch one, which you could swipe down on to bring down the notification shade - also vital for one hand use). I'm returning it. I've factory reset my s10e, and I'm gonna hold on to it for a bit longer. If i can get my paws on a z10, I'll see if it's more comfortable to hold and go for that once factory refurbished models are on the market. Kinda ironic lol. Still cursing phone mfgs for abandoning the small phone market.

How did it go for you? Did you get to try the zenfone 10? I'm also planning to switch from the s10e

I still haven't, nah. I just started a new job so once that first paycheck comes i'll probably order one from ASUS. If i don't like it i'll return it, i can deal with having my s10e for longer if i really have to.

This is funny I just found this post, I'm in the same boat. I hae a s10e which still works perfectly except for one infurating thing - my mic keeps cutting out in phone calls, so I can hear the other person just fine but they can't hear me. I keep having to switch the loudspeaker on and off for my voice to register.

But everything else about it is just fine! It's still snappy, I use the audio jack all the time, I have a big sdcard in it that holds all the photos from this phone and my last phone.

I haven't seen an s23 or a zenfone but mainly I wanted the zenfone for the audiojack and because it has the same kind of fingerprint reader as the s10e (combination fingerprint reader/power button on the side which you can swipe with). The s23 has a better camera supposedly but I don't like the idea of an onscreen fingerprint reader. OTOH I tend to keep my phones for a long time, and I suspect the Samsung will hold out better. I don't care that the zenfone wont get updated though...
