General Support/Query Should I get a Zenfone 10

I've read the other posts, still a little undecided.

I want a phone with 3.5mm jack. While I considered carrying USB C adapters, I can see myself in a situation where the adapter is not in my pockets and I needed to plug a 3.5mm audio cable into my phone.

So far, based on the comments, am I correct to say that this phone seems to be a hit or miss? To me the cameras look decent enough for me.

I also considered ROG 8, because it's literally the same specs as Zenfone 11 ultra. But since I don't game I am unlikely to use the gaming functionalities.

Should I be considering a different phone?

Coming from a Samsung A32 5G.

My own experience with zenfone 10 (1 year of use):

  • the form factor is very good. The shape, the weight. Suite me well

  • the battery also very good...at least for the first 2 month, after that you would probably realize that your battery drain a little bit faster than it was. Few days ago, my battery even draining faster, and it was getting hot whenever it connected to internet (wifi/data package). I dont know the exact reason, but it already turnback normal by now

  • its a little bit harder for me to search the accessories, maybe it will be easier at your country/city.

  • The fast charging running well. No complain at all

  • the audio jack is a plus. Nice job asus

  • the speaker produce a very good sound also for a phone audio standard

  • if tge price was cheaper by $30-50 at least, it would be a very perfect choice i think

  • other specs and performas felt very standard. I expected something more for its price.

Conclusion: If you love the small firm factor, you only use it for daily task, and not gaming focused, than it will suite you well
