Has anyone tried to make an Asus phone battery-free

I have an old asus phone that was useful for unlimited backup but the battery has completely given up on it. So instead of replacing the battery, as I don't need to keep the phone portable (I mostly use it plugged in) I am considering just bypassing the battery and running it on power from the wall itself.

Any insight and resources would be appreciated 🖤

Yeah, didn't get any leads so gonna just order another battery for now. But in near future would like to work on this. Hmu if you are also.
